I really like the concept of the game. The pixel art you picked suits the game very well. It's very  fun to play.  Great work :)

Interesting game , I like the dash system and puzzle game system .

Interesting concept with a nice presentation and a soothing music. I just wish there was more to it beyond simply dashing and repeating until completition. I feel like this game has potential and it could be even better with more complexity, good job!

Nice concept for a game. The idea of restoring the museum piece by piece works really well, and seeing each section slowly come back to life is genuinely satisfying. That sense of progress makes it hard to stop playing because you always want to finish just one more area.

The presentation is also very well put together. The different color themes for each section help make every area feel distinct, and the music fits the calm exploration vibe nicely.

The dash mechanic is simple but effective, and it creates those moments where you have to think about your movement instead of just rushing through. It keeps the gameplay tense in a good way.

Overall a really enjoyable entry with a strong core idea and a satisfying gameplay loop. Great job!!!

ALSO,  if you like brain-teasing puzzle platformers, make sure to check out our game!

Just completed this game, you picked some nice art and music for this, but the real star is the game design, there was something really pulling on me to finish the game, that's a great sign.  I found the actual loop quite innovative. I would have really enjoyed a few more sound effects but other than that I really loved everything else.

This was a very cool and fun game! Although I did find it a bit annoying that all my progress was reset every time I died. Especially when I can't see very far in the first place. So sometimes I would dash through an obstacle, only to run into another one close by that I couldn't see before. But other than that, this was a really unique game! I really like how you used the dash mechanic, and the music is quite calming :)

Such a chill game to play, loved discovering all the rooms

Beautiful game. The challenge feels fair, and going through the trials of gathering shards while avoiding the black blocks in each zone to reveal the whole environment of that section is quite a spectacle. Even if you didn’t make the sprite art yourself, you utilized it really well and executed the idea nicely. The music is very chilling as well. Good job overall.

I liked seeing the museum come back to life. Great job!

I really had a great time playing this! It took me 22 lives to beat the game.

Really great job! Loved the music.

Really enjoyed this. Filling each area and finishing sections feels great. The different colors, simple dash, and fitting music all come together nicely. Fun and clean overall.

Feel free to try our game too!

This was so satisfying. Watching each wing slowly fill back in as you find the statues just feels great, and when you finally complete a whole area and it lights up / opens, it's a dopamine rush. I also like how each wing has its own main color, makes the museum feel like a bunch of totally different little worlds instead of one same-y maze.

The dash mechanic is simple but is engaging. And the music is perfect for it, it gives everything that wonder/curiosity vibe that matches the whole crystal museum thing.

Really pretty game and super clean concept. I had a blast unlocking the whole place.

The game looks great. I love that from the start you don't really know what's strange, but then you discover all the different areas! I like what you did with the dash here, it's unique and forces me to play with patience :).

Even if you didn't make the pixel art, I think you have chosen wisely sprites because everything looks great. The concept is nice, but you need to find a way to renew it or it will become repetitive. Anyway I love the concept of a museum where environment changes which can give you the opportunity to visit lots of different places. Great job !

What a good game! I really enjoyed it, im sad that i didn't complete all the levels but it was fun trying to. The visuals are amazing and super smooth. Super good entry for the jam, congrats!

Clearing a room and having everything appear was very satisfying. At first I didn't like that you had to go re-collect the gems, but eventually I appreciated it, as it made me go see the whole fully-filled-in space.

Dashing while pressing multiple directions at once (hard to do accidentally on a keyboard, hard to avoid on a controller, or mine at least) causes you to dash off an unpredictable distance in an unpredictable direction. Usually it would go very far in the expected diagonal, but sometimes a short distance in almost the opposite direction. I had to switch to the keyboard because I kept dashing into walls I wasn't even looking at. For such a grid-based game with narrow one-grid-cell pathways, you might want to consider aligning the player movement to the grid.

A fun time overall

Cool idea for a puzzle game and a very cute vibe! I notice you wrote in a previous comment that the player collision is fixed, but it is still a bit off. When I move downwards it is very forgiving and I can even stand a bit on the dark parts but when moving upwards I feel like I lose before the characters feet are reaching the dark parts.

PS. Some sprites in the beach area are missing a collision :)

Developer

Thank you for playing!

Also, thank you for the feedback. I didn't know there was still missing collisions in the beach area, I'll look at that. There are definitely still some tweaks to be made on the player collisions. That's a good point on the "feet" not touching when going up, which makes sense, since the collision is a circle. Maybe it would be better to create a small box collision at only his feet? Maybe that would help?

Great feedback, thank you!

Such a nice little maze game! Loved the color scheme of the game! Great work.

Developer

Thank you for the kind words and thanks for playing!

I like this spin on a maze game! do wish it had a heart system of some sorts so I wouldn't insta die every time though.

Developer

Thank you!
I love the idea of a heart system. I might add that after the rating period.

Very satisfying moment when the whole room is revealed and you no longer have to be careful with your movement. Didn't realise I was supposed to be collecting crystals until I'd completed all 4 rooms and had to go back and scoop almost all of them up.

Developer

Awesome.. glad you liked it.
Yeah, I would like to add some sort of indicator to the screen to let the player know there are shards to collect.
