What's the strangest/funniest bug you encountered while making your game?
Bugs aren't fun -_-
Don't forget to add the title of the jam somewhere in your submission page!
Okay dokay

Really impressive art throughout the introduction particular. I would have liked to see more life in the in game sprites, even if it was just some sweet battle poses (instead of standing straight). It looks like you created a very solid RPG system and some fleshed out builds, however I did find the loop very grindy. There might have been a better sense of progression to start the characters with fewer moves, have a few more encounters before the boss and maybe balance to gain ~1 new ability per loop?
Hi, thanks for playing! We did consider adding more skills as the player progressed, but given time constraints, that vision couldn't be realized. Despite that, I hope you enjoyed the game!
This game is really addictive. GREAT visuals, music and gameplay. I really liked to fight the boss over and over hahaha
The graphic looks great. What software did you use to create it? 😯
Hi! I used Piskel to create all the character sprites, while our other artist used Asesprite to create the backgrounds. I didn't use anything too fancy! Thanks for playing
Wow, great art work and the music definitely took me back to the good old SNES times.
Is there a way to equip the things that you can buy in the shop like caps and weapons?
One or two battles more with 1-2 other monsters would have been great, to kind of lower the amount of loops you have to do to level up.
You did a great job!
Ooops my bad, forgot my keyboard was on Azerty. The menu key should be semicolon in qwerty [ ; ]
Will update the page to notify people
Deeply sorry about that
Oh, I totally missed the info on the game page. 😅 Thanks for clarifying it. Will tr againy to beat the boss. 🙂
Thanks for playing! In the patch you played, the menu could be opened with ';' (don't ask me why), but now we changed it to be 'c'. I appreciate your feedback!
DISCLAIMER: I only made it to the third loop and then I accidentally exited out.
Positives:
+I love the character art especially! For that matter all the sprite art was pleasant.
+Also the music takes me back to Dragon Quest and the Tales games.
+character designs are solid.
+The variety of items at the shop
Suggestions:
>One thing I would have liked is a better indication of which party member is currently being controlled, maybe animating them when it's their turn.
>More encounters per loop to level up and have more of an indication of how much stronger my party has become
>I kind of wish the demon lord killed me faster and the grind overall was shortened so I would get stronger faster.
>Progression is pretty slow for a game jam game
>I would have liked a visual indication of which characters are buffed
Overall:
I like the concept of looping to grind levels and equipment, but it is time consuming. Overall, I had a good time though. It is very impressive that you made such good RPG bones within the timeframe.
It´s fine, but grinding for the boss is a bit boring.
I love the rpg feel! the Introduction was sick and the combat is very intuitive. The final boss music isn't playing but i still had a ton of fun playing this!
while im not normaly a fan of anime i loved this game the art was amzing however i got stuck on the sell screen with no way out that i could find
