The controls reminded me of playing way too much Chip's Challenge. It's simple and easy to figure out.
In hindsight, remembering the good times is uplifting...but while I was playing it, the whole time I felt like something was about to go horribly wrong :D Maybe it was the dark background that made me feel like I was playing a horror game?

It reminded me of a game i used to play as a kid named "Gurk 8 bit". Very Nostalgic.
It’s weird that arrow keys can dismiss the dialogue. I kept dismissing it by accident.
I think you did a lot for a bitsy game, but the whole experience is a bit too sad for my liking. Still, great bitsy use.

i dont know if it's a byproduct of bitsy but the music stopping while dialogue was visible was a drawback while i always appreciate a good bitsy game like this in a jam. nice work :)
Thanks man....yeah its a byproduct of the normal bitsy...it could have been easily avoided by a bitsy hack...but i was running low on time...so...yeah...thats all I've to say [made in last 2 days due to procrastination 🥲]
