Use of the limitation
The idea is to give the player upgrades after each "wave" or "round", but each with a downside, eventually breaking the game or destroying your run. Everything will be going wrong, because the upgrades are not always what they seem to be from their title and description.

Cookies eaten
Steph didn't eat any snacks (unfortunately), Hanny ate a whole can of chips, Loy and Erik ate around ~30 different sweets

Nice game! had a good laugh when choosing the upgrades and seeing what the outcome was, lots of fun!

Had a lot of fun trying different builds on this one! I was surprised by how strategic you can be with the upgrade choices, and the downsides made it a lot more interesting. The upgrades are really funny, I love the "mini gun", tower defense and isekai especially hehe. The main problem I had was with the mouse sensitivity, which was way too low even on the highest setting and I needed to manually increase my mouse's DPI to be able to play. Maybe it's a problem with firefox since I don't see anyone else mentioning it? The crosshair also seemed to not be very accurate, it was quite hard to aim sometimes (even without upgrades that messed with spread), which was probably worsened by the slow bullet speed (I think hitscan would've worked better here). I managed to make it to round 26 at which point the rounds took so long I just let myself get killed haha, fun game!

Thats an amazing Score! Thanks for Playing ^^

Yeah, regarding the mouse DPI there are some issues, generally aiming and such. I haven't worked with that much yet and there was not a lot of time to optimize, but thats definately something i will work on improving.

And yes the crosshair and shooting system in general is very flimsy from its very core haha, the bullets come from the guns barrel, but that is fixed in place with the cam, so depending on the distance the crosshair will not be where the bullet lands unfortunately. I might look into hitscan next instead of classic collisions.

Cool game ! I had some fun trying some builds arounds, a little thing that bothered me is that I often selected upgrade by error without reading them because the selection menu appears so fast that I clicked something while trying to shoot the last bandit.

Developer

Yeah true that happened to me during testing too. Unfortunately there was not enough time left for me to bugfix and optimize properly, but i might do that in the future to polish this up as a portfolio piece.

This game is good, i liked the concept of downgrade honestly  It took me a while to understand. Very good game bro

I found it funny that the limitation was a downgrade. I chose the “Tower Defense” option hoping to get a tower but it seems like I became one instead (I died instantly after that). Such a fun concept!

Overall a nice experience, did get the hang of the shooting on the first try, but on the second could make to wave 5.

The greed when choosing the upgrades was my downfall.

I did put on the headphones but did not get so immersive, add some music, polish some sfx and it’s a good and fast game to play.

The upgrades are a fun touch, great job on the asset design in such a short time !

Very Fun game !  I felt like you made the same game as me but in 3d lol !  The upgrade names were hilarious, my favorite one was size matters 😭😭. The game felt kind of difficult without being able to see the enemy health though.

Very fun, I liked how the upgrade system worked and 100% kept ruining my runs ahaha

I like the wacky upgrades. Good job!

Great game! I enjoyed discovering what each upgrade does and guessing if it was going to help or hurt. I got a double gatling gun expecting to mow people down but the spread was so bad I coudln't hit a thing lol.
