The pixel art is really beautiful and magical, it has its own atmosphere. I think music could take it somewhere special. Just a thought from a fellow jammer 🙂
I love the artwork you've done for this, everything feels so magical! The game would benefit from some music, but I also find the starting voice acting so fun. Right now, the game is missing a goal and such, but I can see that you plan on continuing development, so good luck! :D
hah now I also prefer the frog option :D
Cool idea. Art is cute. Worth growing your game.
It would be nice to see water level without hovering and also see the progress of growing.
I plan on adding more stuff definitly. I had to shave a lot of ideas I had to be able to finish in time, so yeah game feels a bit unpolished even to me, but I think too the concept is worth growing on! Thank you for the support :P
Fun, well-made, enjoyable game. Cool idea.
Great visuals, and the game is really addictive - awesome work!
that sorcerer's voice got my heart <3
I like the concept and the art a lot! Someone else mentioned it would be helpful to see how much debt is left to repay, and I definitely agree. I also think it would be helpful to have some kind of time pressure so there feels like a reason to keep all the available slots full of plants (and risk growing the Voidheart).
Yes that was in the original plan, but with the Jams time constraint and work I got stuck in the last few days trying to finish the core loop and saddly ran out of time before I could add the other features I wanted... Maybe in a future update? :P
Cute concept. I think something that would have helped is a way to see what debt was left to pay off. But the art and explanations were simple and it played well.
That was in the original idea alongside other features... but saddly work made me run out of time and I just had to cut fratures to make a complete loop... Maybe in a update soon? :P
