Notes from gameplay:

  • Splash screen is simple but effective. I like the slight texture in the background blue
  • Ooh the slide down from the title screen into the gameplay is an awesome effect!
  • Art style is super pretty!
  • Good detail to include the white outlines on interactable objects
  • The white outline is a bit less noticeable on the seed packets because the windows behind them have a lot of white and grey
  • The slight animation on the growing plants is a nice extra touch!
  • Can't seem to get the fertilizer to work? I'm dragging it over each plant but nothing appears to be changing
  • Same with watering can. Do I need to fill it?
  • Good feedback by making an item green when we hover over it, but it seems to stop turning green after we drag it. Need to click somewhere else before the hover effect happens again
  • Ok, well maybe my plants don't need water? Ending day
  • Again, I love the art sliding up/down as a transition. Very slick!
  • Ah, ok, now my plants are telling me they need stuff
  • Still can't figure out how to use the fertilizer or watering can :(
  • Cycling through days. Great art distinction to show my plants are dying!

What beautiful art and polished UI! Some audio and enhanced gameplay would help improve this. Feels like you have a good start to something cozy!

Wonderful graphics, would have love a little audio track to complete the cozy vibrant vibe!

The gameplay is relaxing, but doesn't convey much in terms of showing a sustainable future or pushing to collective action. I felt the diminishing resources part though, because I wasn't able to water all my plants and they started dying :(

I'm a bit concerned about using that much of fertilizer though, but it could be something natural and harmless in these bags.

Congrats for the jam!

Really liked the graphics, it looks so cozy and pretty. It would be really helpful to have some instructions at the start, because it took me a while until I understood how to water and fertilise  the plant, also is it possible to harvest the plants?

I really loved the artwork, the watercolor illustrations were truly touching.

I also appreciated the idea that it's important to accept the possibility of losing plants due to lack of water, for example.

I played the game for a while but got very frustrated:

- It's unclear what you're supposed to do at the start.

- There's a lack of visual feedback for where you can apply fertilizer or water... animating the watering can, the fertilizer application... why not have a little game to show you how much to apply but not too much, for example?

- I didn't know where the water and fertilizer come from after each loop; I suggest developing some narrative around these parameters.

- I suggest adding music and sound effects, which would have enhanced the game.

- I didn't understand the connection to the Regenerate topic, as this is a classic vegetable garden management game. We could further explore the topic of water or fertilizer regeneration, how to obtain them... or even soil regeneration with worms... in which case we'd need to move beyond the vegetable patch.

- I gave up after a while because the tasks were too repetitive, and I didn't know if there was a harvest option.

A very beautiful, cozy game that deserves a few improvements to become a truly great game!
