Cool minigame! Wish I could throw away some of my stolen stuff to remove the debuffs and perhaps use them actively while stealing so the game can turn more interactive instead of just having passive effects. Another cool thing you could add is that the thief could sell his stuff when he goes home and buy more stuff that helps him steal better, so you have a sense of progression. Also the graphics/UI look could be improved.

Nice little game! I really like the music, I find it quite relaxing in a way. Aside from the controls, I think the UI could be reorganized a bit to improve clarity.

Hmm I'm not sure why, but I lost the second level even though I stole all the items. I didn't see that the items gave different attributes to the needle speed etc, that is so cleaver!

Nice work for this jam! I think it's a good little game loop, well-picked scope for this sort of gamejam length!

I agree with others that keyboard controls would have been nice, as clicking a button to hit the needle in the right space feels a little clunky. I also found that in a later level, whether I succeeded or not came down entirely to what seemingly random items I stole off people, despite my stealing successfully. I think whilst probability was an element of the gamejam, that makes it a bit less fun, as I really have no control over whether I can even succeed in the first place.

It's a good start on the visuals and they got the point across! little tip for easy polish: Godots animation player is great at just making a sprite bounce up and down a bit if you put the pivot near the bottom of the sprite. That alone on repeat often helps give a game with otherwise a lot of static visuals a bit more life!

Was the game supposed to be on mute? I played around with the audio settings but it didn't seem to change much.

The core concept was lovely, reminding me of UT combat, precisely the reason why I think it should've been keyboard-based rather than click-based. The (visual) scaling was off for me too but that might as well just be a personal issue.

I think this should be keyboard controlled. Aiming at those tiny button with a mousepad was not easy XD

it's a pretty simple concept seemed like there could have been a little more work but it's pretty good gam

Good game !! I like timing games and having the stolen items affect the steal bar was a nice mechanic. The last level was really hard tho. Having a nice background would have gave the game a nice touch as well as animations. Something to make the game more engaging would be for the villagers to chase you after stealing from them giving the player a sense of urgency to steal from the next person. Overall nice simple game. Good job Beikon !!

I really think this game would be improved if you could use a keyboard key to do the steal!

The idea of stealing being harder for each thing you have stolen so far is interesting!
