Very cool idea, definitely has a lot of potential for a full game with more different wand models! The combination of anime portraits and theme with realistic graphics made for a pretty interesting contrast.

I liked the way the start menu was revealed to be the laptop. I noticed some minor z-order issues in the UI, with the graph output from "Test Core" overlapping the "List Programs" dialog box, but overall the UI seemed really nice and polished. The addition of AI chatbot seems a bit unnecessary, and didn't seem to work properly anyway.

Occasionally, it felt like the wand would "glitch out" and it became really hard to put elements back in after taking them out. Also, on my second time trying out the demo, the cable that should appear after taking off the cover refused to appear and I couldn't do anything. The anime figure easter egg was pretty funny, but I think it might be skirting the rules of the gamejam a bit?

Regardless, very nice and polished demo!

Thanks for the comment. Yes, the graph was very problematic to render and the current solution isn’t good. It’s a 3D object and therefore lies on top of the canvas.

I’m also very annoyed that the AI bot is broken in the release. I wouldn’t say it was unnecessary, though. You could have learned quite a bit more about the staff through it.

I need to check the bug with the cable; I suspect it’s something to do with the event system.
