It was really fun to play! There is a nice variety of chips and characters. The rules are easy to understand. It feels really polished for a jam game.
Great submission, good job!
Cool take on the Black Jack gameloop ! Very charming art and animations too ! I skipped the tutorial by accident at first, don't know how though 😅 but then I restarted the game and it was back. Anyway the idea is very clever I think it even leaves room for future improvements (roguelike-ish, iterative gameplay maybe ? haha) . Congrats on your entry guys !
Art style has good. Game was cool and fun.
Am I missing something? I couldn't really figure out if there was any strategy aside from hitting deal until I won or lost.
Nice UX though. It's very clean
When you buy a chip from the shop - which you can hover over to see what they do - you can drag them from your bar onto the cards you're about to deal to change the value of them, and build up a strategy to always win the games. In hindsight we weren't quite clear enough about it (even though it's the main mechanic) - if I could go back in time the tutorial would be redo-able and there would be little animations showing you how to do it.
ahh! Ok yeah I kept buying the chips but didn’t know why. I’ll play it again
