This is so chilling and relaxing. Love the vibes of this song! Definitely fits the theme. Good job!🔥
ive decided to post the song on yt (cause why not) so here yall go (i did forget to fix the resonance though)
The intro felt so much Strawberry Field Forever! Very dream-like! I liked how the top melody changed in timbre over time. Did you slowly change the wave on the wavetable for that?
ive only started using fl about three months ago so id have no idea on how to do that lol. also my dad is a lifelong beatles fan (and ive been getting into them lately as well) so i find it really cool that my song reminded you of them!
That's awesome! Very well made for 3 months of learning. Well done : )
Any favorite songs by The Beatles so far? Some of my favs are Michelle, A Day in the Life (which in inspired my entry for this jam!), and She's So Heavy. Across the Universe is a banger too!
Ive only listened to Abbey road so far, and my dad made me watch the yellow submarine a bunch as a child, so some of my favourites right now are: Lucy in the sky with diamonds, something, here comes the sun, you never give me your money. Im currently half-asleep in bed though so I might be missing some.
Something is also crazy good! That also reminded me of another I love, "Because". I made a cover of that one in high school. Can't go wrong with Abbey Road and Yellow Submarine! I'm partial to Sargent Peppers : )
I did make a some music in fl with one a friend of mine whos REALLY talented before getting fl for myself. So he really taught me the ropes. And though we haven't finished that song yet, I think it helped me a lot in starting up.
kind of sounds dreamlike, thought a bit of the game Anodyne
i just listened to Anodyne II and wow you're so right
This sounds soo relaxing! Is it ok if i use this in a video? (I'm not sure I'll ever post it though )
id love it if my song was used in a video! just make sure to credit me tho
You got it! Thank you!
Like others have said, there is some mastering stuff that could be tweaked around with this song to polish it off, but your base is already there and very sturdy. This sound so pleasant to me, the tape distortion reminds me a lot of the Omori ost.
i really love the omori ost so getting compared to it means a lot
very eepy music, i love it a lot  🥺🥺🥺 sounds like a lullaby (lullaby) (I love it)
So dreamy and beautiful! There's some harsh resonance from the instrument that comes in from 0:20 onwards but other than that, I liked this!
i really like how this went, the vibes were really nice and i love the sound choice, good job
Hey there! Some cool sounds you've got in this track. I always like the wobbly, tape-like sounds of some VST's. I also like the way you bring in layers in the track and build off that initial idea over time.
My main feedback is that the high-pitched instruments seem to clash with each other a bit and seem to have a bit of a distorting sound to them (somewhere between 40 seconds and 1 minute into the track) that's a little unpleasant to my ears. I think reducing any distortion or saturation parameters and moving them away from center in the mix may help clean this up.
Thanks for sharing what you've got, and keep up the good work :)
Thank you for the really nice comment & advice! I'm really new with music software so I don't really know what I'm doing most of the time, so getting advice is really nice for me. I usually don't really know where to go after I make a melody so having my process being validated is also nice.
