Fantastic. Great job developing a plotline with six characters all doing their own things that was completely consistent (barring the intentionally-placed red herrings). The game looks and sounds excellent, and you also included a lot of good quality of life features that usually don't make the cut in jam games. Excellent work.
Amazing game! It was really satisfying to piece the mystery together at the end and get multiple chances to figure it out. The systems all worked great and the writing is very good. Nice job!
Probably the best straight detective game here. The only thing is that I feel that it was a bit easy to find the killer since like everyone had an alibi but two people one of whom almost died themselves. I only struggled to prove the motive since I presumed that the killer would want to publish the research to get enough cred to land a job in their field, but maybe that was just me overthinking things.
Ah thank you! Yeah I was trying to balance how obvious it should be who the killer is and probably could have done better. Granted, this is the first mystery I've ever written, so it's likely a more experienced mystery writer would've been able to work that out a bit quicker. But I really appreciate your comment, it helps to know what was too hard/too easy, so hopefully I can improve in the future!
Great work!
Good art, I'm stuck trying to figure out the code to the suitcase though
Hi! If you're still stuck (sorry I'm only seeing this now), try checking the notes in your journal!
I didn't know there was a journal, I will look into that for round 2
got stuck at this part too, thanks for the hint 🔥
unfortunantly im not one for these types of games, but god damn the art is good
