The amount of animations that feel unique and dynamic makes it insane to me this was in picoCAD. Awesome work
Such incredible execution. I was eager to check the project file right away. I really like that cylinder gridline background.
Fun backgrounds have a bunch of potential in this software!
Glad it made you want to inspect it
Bonkers level of animation work here. Great job!
Thanks as always bud, you're a massive inspiration to me
So much detail! Took me a good while to notice just how much there is.
I was at first worried it was too much detail, but people kept saying it made it fun to rewatch, so I tried leaning into it!
That hand and core look insane. It must have taken ages to get the fingers moving in congruence.
The hand was rather easy!
I made a hand model in another window and posed it there, merged, then copied it into the scene.
The last hand (of the three seen) was a bit trickier, but I merged the knuckles so it wasn't too rough, just applying some rotation instead of needing to keep track of position
Looks amazing. I can hear the melee opening theme in my head!
SUUUPER SMAAASH BROOOTHERRSSS....
MELEE!
At one point, I was considering making the UI because it's in 3D space
There is so much work and ambition put into this piece!
With so many moving bits and pieces involved it is hard to imagine how much time it took to setup the animations for every single mesh present in this project. And it all turned out both so clean and so glorious.
Nothing short of amazing!
I really appreciate the kind words!
While this model took me all week, animations are, for the most part, intuitive to me, and they probably took less time than the modeling, maybe even the texturing. And I was able to get chunks of it done at a time.
My main method is to do a rough animation and see if any adjustments are needed for inbetweens.
I do tend to make a lot of small adjustments as I go, though. That can chew up time. But I make it look how I want it to look first, and then it's just a process of tuning the timing. I feel the system is really good for quick changes like that.
Also, the copy and paste system is a maaaaassive time saver
Thanks again!
Amazing Job!!
Amazing Job!!
Amazing Job!!
Incredible detail! Fantastic job
Thank you! The fact people are enjoying it makes it worth it
Absolutely exquisite. Not a single pixel wasted, and so many models interacting together as seamlessly as if they had physics simulations. Wow wow wow!
That means a lot!
I had a blast making this, I've always liked pushing picoCAD1 to it's limits, and this gave me perspectives on how much strength P2 has.
Wow this is amazing! I really need to check the file to see how everythings work! I can't imagine the amount of work it must have taken you.
I really did spend most of the week on this, chunks were done at a time, lots of love to Barinky/SLAM on motivating me to make a transition between the two stages. He helped inspire the hand being made as a way to combine the two models without it looking like a cut.
This is beyond impressive!
Thank you!
This is crazy, the amount of small details and animations is AGAIN proof of picoCAD movie when???
Dude Barinky and Ben set the bar high
If only I could figure out how to make money off of a movie made in picocad2
Send emails to Netflix
This is honestly a hole game not even art at this point I would love nothing more then to play this stage in pico out standing work as always top pico god and the animation is too good it feels like I was missing out on smash for the pico 8
Thank you! It's crazy to me to think I'm at that kind of rank
I would 100% play a pico8/retro smash fighting game
Actually, there's a modded version of Smash 64 called Smash Remix that is an massive content addition to the original
hmm i dunno that seems like a lot of item- oh... damb nvm. no items after all
