Ranked from 5 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your game fit the theme?
The theme of the jam is Outside the box, basically you as the player are exploring planets to go to the outside of the universe, aka outside the box of the universe, and as a refrence to this at the end of the game you can see that the universe is just a square, refrencing a box.

Definitely in need of a restart button in  game. Also, some hitboxes didn't make much sense. I do think the knockback in midair was a cool concept, considering you're in space, but the way the level is designed made it not feel great since most of the time it's instant death. One thing I do like is the death screen

Not being able to press "r" to restart was very annoying as I had to reopen the game every time I died. One part of the game I didn't really like was that there was no "air time", so the parkour sections felt really strict and unforgiving as the player would think they could jump off later off of the platform.

I think that it was okay. The game was pretty difficult and unforgiving, and it was very annoying to have to relaunch it every time I died. It was also annoying that there was recoil if you shot midair, causing me to be sent backwards, fall off, and die.

The collision boxes for the spike things were both too forgiving when you were on top of them and not forgiving enough when you weren't even touching them. I would have played the entire thing, but there's no way to restart at the beginning of the level, you can only reboot the game and start over from the very beginning. There's also no feedback for the gun, and when you use it in the air or on certain platforms you get teleported backwards which really messes with platforming.

If you just add a way to restart at checkpoints and fix the hitboxes, I'm sure you'll have a fun, simple platformer on your hands.
