How many of you think you'll be entering into the jam or are you just interested in seeing the output?

I know I have a minesweeper game I want to make and submit. Just curious what other people's plans are. Mine exists somewhere halfway in between Dragon Sweeper and traditional Minesweeper.

Mined! will be in 3D.

Mined! will be much bigger than that. Development is proceeding quite well but I probably do need the full month.

My apologies, I couldn't make it on time. But I'm going to complete it one day and add to my portfolio

wow thats an exciting list! I look forward to the friendly competition!

I’ve been playing minesweeper variants like mamono sweeper, dragon sweeper, bombe, and 14MSV for ages and have wanted a reason to make my own. Happy to have caught this jam. I don’t have a brilliant idea in mind but I’m sure something will come of it.

Awesome! Which one is your favorite of the one's you mention?

I have by far the most time in Bombe, which I consider the quintessential game for minesweeper lovers. It’s a game where you create abstract rules that form a minesweeper solver engine and iterate it to perfection as puzzles get more complex. It can be a bit daunting but once you get comfortable with it it gets really satisfying, and you unlock QOL tools as you solve puzzles.

I’ve occasionally pondered giving Bombe an extension, but I won’t be making anything like it this time. Mine will be closer to 14MSV or Dragonsweeper. It’ll be a logic-focused game about identifying a set of enemies with unique behavior and patterns. I’m thinking of making the enemies aliens and making a bunch of wacky looking alien designs.

Wow, the screenshots for Bombe are intimidating.

hello,

I am working on a dungeon sweeper version, base on the Daniel Benmergui's DragonSweeper.
I love his game, so I decided to create mine as my first game on Godot, to train myself on this engine.

And after some beta version, I just publish the demo version today, following my steam page validation !
What an adventure from a training project to a (first ever !) release on steam.
