This game is REALLY fun, I love hades so this scratches my brain the same way, it's a lot of fun, the upgrades are good and the game feels good to play. Only nitpicks I have are the dash being aimed at the closest enemy rather than the direction the player is facing (that'd make dashing a lot better imo) and no effect for when the player takes damage, it's hard to notice unless you look at the health bar, which you're not focusing at when playing.

I'm also not a big fan of the upgrade before bosses which gives you a debuff and also a buff, but that's just me. As someone who wants to make a game that is like hades, this gives me some inspiration, very very good!

The enemy and upgrade varieties are really on point, I never felt any slight hints of repetition or tedium when I was playing. I think the addition of giving the box both melee attacks and projectiles allowed the enemies to have good diversity and have their own ways to be dealt with, for example I think the bomb dropping enemy would've been annoying due to its mild speed and decently large bombing damage area, but the projectiles allowed me to hit it for decent damage when it stopped moving, which made me understand how I could tackle them better.

I specifically liked all the details that are subtle but are just so nice to have, like how there's easily understandable markings for the upgrade/reward type before each room, or how some of the upgrades literally refer to the box character, I think one of them was "Better Tape", which just makes sense to me. Also, the settings were cool, I love being able to customise difficulty to my leisure.

I have no complaints, you packed this with a lot of content and I'm not even sure that I've seen it all. Great Work!

The upgrades/builds system is great!

This is great, I really enjoyed the different upgrades and builds you can make. I really like the homing arrows.

This is one of my favorites from this jam. I enjoyed it a lot.

I think you have some kind of leak though. After playing through once, when I started another round the game got progressively more laggy to the point I couldn't play. Doing a page refresh fixed it.

Hey, I tried your game and I really enjoyed it! The idea of the box trying to escape is simple but clever, and it kept me engaged

I liked how the enemies interact with the player-box, it added some tense moments without feeling frustrating. The overall concept feels solid and fun for a jam

Nice work! I’m also in the jam, so if you get a chance to check my game I’d love to hear what you think

Especially for a game jam game, this gets the fundamentals of a roguelike really well. I think it could have used more of a twist to the usual formula, but as it stands, it's a really simple and addicting game.

The Game was Fun to Play, The enemies (or idk what to call them) were getting inside the Player-box and like they were getting stuck there which made it hard to kill, but the video looked cool
