How does your game fit the theme?
Cats Love Boxes fits the theme of "Outside the Box!" because it is all about helping a cat who is outside of a cardboard box make his way into it. My creative take on this prompt was slightly more literal.

This game was seriously so cute! I really liked all the sound effects and the puzzles got increasingly more difficult. I had to put my thinking cap on and I loved that! Putting the cat in the box was the best part haha. I liked the level design a lot, I can tell you took the time to plan out each level and play tested, because I did not run into many issues at all!

Fun puzzle game, even if they're not always my favorite genre! I'm impressed with how many levels you managed to fit into this in such a short timeframe. One big note I have though is that the audio actually doesn't loop right away and is silent for a good bit after the song ends! I wouldn't have noticed this due to how short the levels are and how long the songs are if not for the fact that I left it running in the background as I was rating this, but it's definitely a pitfall to watch out for.

You’ve welcome! It wasn’t all the textures, I just noticed it on some of the decorative tiles on your map. I didn’t take a lot of time to repro it sadly.

This game was great, I had a lot of fun coming up with the solutions to the puzzles. The different mechanics that get introduced all made the puzzles really interesting. I especially love how I had to also use the cat to push down some buttons or act as a barrier to stop things moving along the arrow tile's paths!
I had to download the game since the alignment of where I was clicking and where my mouse was acted weird in the browser version. Some of the objects when going along the arrow path stopped an extra tile back from where they were supposed to land. That didn't stop me from being able to solve the puzzles tho!
The amount of levels made in time for the jam was really great and I had so much fun playing :) congrats on getting the game done in time!

I am sorry you experienced some weird browser issues, unfortunately I didn't test the WebGL version until right when I submitted so I didn't have time to fix them. That was definitely on me! Next time I submit a browser game I will definitely be testing it much sooner!

This was a really fun experience. Some of the solutions to the later levels felt really satisfying piecing together. The overall aesthetic was also really good, the art and the music work very well together.

This was an adorable Sokoban! My favorite part was placing the kitty in the box.
I think some of the puzzles were a little easy, but I didn't mind so much because the art, music and cat character were all so lovely - made for a very low stress, cozy experience. Nice work!
