How does your game fit the theme?
The theme "Outside the Box" made us think of puzzle games, like point-and-click adventures, and it also influenced the theming of the game, making it so it was a crafted would that takes place outside a box.

I loved the writingand the art style, and found the puzzles were generally very approachable! (even as someone unfamiliar with point and click genre) Unfortunately, I got stuck on the last puzzle and couldn't finish the game :(, but good work regardless!
(also, i hate to be the one to tell you this, but the word cabinet is misspelt as cabnt in the kitchen...)
Thank you so much! Shame you weren't able to get the last puzzle, what were you stuck on exactly?
(also I knew some spelling errors were inevitable, thanks for pointing it out)
I couldn't figure out how to open the drawerin the child's bedroom.
The ending was a little anti-climatic but the puzzle-solving was clear and fun, good work!
Thank you! I definitely agree that the ending was anti-climatic, the idea for the ending changed so many times throughout the development, so it is definitely weaker that it should have been.
This was a really cool and fun game! All the little jokes were very funny. Great job!
Thank you :DD
This was a really charming adventure. The puzzles were not too easy or too obtuse (as a lot of point and clicks tend to be). I can see you make sure to give the correct amount of help to the player. As someone already mentioned, it has some Lumino city vibes (in a good way). Good work!
Thank you so much!
This was such a fun game! I really liked the way you involved every face of the box to tie into the puzzles of the other faces. I think the art was really good and I loved that it felt almost like Mario Galaxy when you go around the planet and the faces change. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much! :D
Amazing creativity! Very fun, makes me feel like a genius😅
Thank you! Glad the balance of the puzzles ended up being good :D
really fun game, reminds me of cube escape, there is some weird glitching in animations but as a godot dev myself (I GET IT)
Thank you. I definitely have a love-hate relationship with AnimationPlayer, as being able to call things in animations is nice, but then sometimes it's hard to deal with.
i love it it reminds me of lumino city and the font remind me of msm!
Thank you! I looked into the msm font, and it turns out that they use the Open Dyslexic font as well, so that's neat. Also lumino city looks cool, I should check it out. Thanks :D
Very weird game. I like it.
I think the UI could do with less clicks to do things. It felt a little excessive to click combine on both items I was putting together. After the first combine, the next item you click should combine automatically.
Thank you, that's a good point about how combine should just be two clicks. Thanks for the feedback :D
Solid entry, I had a good time with the puzzles!
Thank you :D
Pretty fun game. Despite the box being small the game is a decent length. The character designs are cool and fit in their respective environments, and the other artwork and textures are nice. The music and sounds are also nice. The game was pretty good, but the video pitch could be better by showing more about the game, and having voices or text.
Thank you! I def agree that the video could have been better, was my first time editing anything in more than a year so wasn't able to do as much as I would have liked.
The rat is the best character. There's just no competition. (I'm lying, every one of them have equally great dialogue.)
I liked the concept of the toy family because it made the puzzle box feel like it has really been used before by someone in the past. All of the puzzles felt decently complex, with the nice mechanics of inspecting, using and combining, yet all of the lines of thinking were nice and easy to follow!
There's no clutter, it's simple, its straightforward, and now I cant stop thinking about that rat. Great Work!
Thank you so much! The rat is my favorite character as well, they were so much fun to write and see how much I could mess with the dialogue effects.
I really liked the concept and aesthetic of this game. It was really fun to play through, and the entire game being on one box is a really cool idea.
Thank you :D
Super cool theming. The fact that the whole design of the game is done around the box is super cool. It also just generally very well polished. I relly liked it :D
Thank you so much :D
Very fun and creative game! I like the art style, the gameplay and puzzles kept me hooked until the end. That rotation system is interesting and must have been hard to implement. Great work!
Thanks a ton!
The rotation system was surprisingly not as hard to implement as I expected when going in due to the plugin used, but it definitely came with its challenges.
Interesting gameplay! i had fun figuring out the puzzles and stuff, though at times it is a bit nauseating having the camera move around, maybe have them locked in a few positions you can switch through rather than having it free move, other than that, great job on the assets, story and over all game! looks pretty neat, great job!
Thank you so much :D
I agree that the camera is definitely not ideal, the 3d gravity space made it a bit difficult to know what would work well. Thanks for the suggestion.
