I must be tone-deaf or something, because I have a really bad skill issue when it comes to rhythm games. I spent like half an hour on that part alone, and with the three spiders in a row, it felt like I couldn't physically swing the sword fast enough with the cooldown and had to do nearly frame-perfect inputs to get it. I think a checkpoint or heal when you get to the boulder part would probably help a bit.

Other than that, it was super fun overall, and probably one of the best games of the jam. I still enjoyed the rhythm part a lot, even if it made me rage more than Getting Over It lol. Awesome job!

Oh, you have no idea how badly it's coded lol. Thanks for the feedback!

Of course! I’ve got a bit of a backlog, but I’ll try to get around to yours soon. Thanks for the feedback!

That’s unfortunate, if you want to try again, there’s a walkthrough on the itch page that you can watch if you get stuck.

Thanks for all the feedback! Good to hear you enjoyed.

Thanks! I hope the trial and error parts didn’t fully ruin the experience for you.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you liked it and hope the trial and error parts weren’t too annoying.

Edit: A fellow mimic enjoyer, I see!

Happy to hear you enjoyed.

Yeah, it’s sort of a consequence of using Pico 8 that the font isn’t super readable sometimes, so I’m sorry that impacted your experience. Glad you liked it otherwise though!

There were a few bugs and the camera was acting a little strangely at times,  but other than that it was pretty fun. Nice job!

I'm realizing now that I unintentionally turned it into a bit of a rage game lol. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad the walkthrough video was helpful.

Fun idea! It felt very well made and I could tell a lot of work was put into it. Great job!

Getting replaced by AI at the end is genius. The visuals were really nice too and the sound effects were very satisfying. Awesome job!

Graphics and sound design were great! Awesome job.

Yeah, I thought about leaning all the way in to the Groundhog's Day idea, but that would be way too much if you had to play it all the way through again after dying right at the end. It's already enough of a rage game as it is, in my opinion.

Neat game! Each of the character's abilities were implemented pretty well. Sort of reminded me of Fire Boy and Water Girl. Unfortunately got softlocked here, but it was still really fun. Nice Job!
