Good game in the wrong Jam. Its made good, but you could easily replace only some graphics and some text and nobody would notice that it was originally a game about bondage. I like the gameplay and it works, I'm just wondering why exactly was it made for this particular jam.

Fun and snappy, though most of the game felt very easy (first 2 bosses each never got a single attack off), but Jill is adorable and when I died and lost all my powerups she was pretty challenging, but not unbeatable. Well done.

I felt pretty discouraged when I didn't get to keep my bullet spread or it got downgraded when entering stage 1 level 2, but it feels pretty fun and chaotic when you get more of the upgrades.

Really satisfying bullet-hell short game with a lot of potential for future scenarios and bounties. I really loved the sound and the music but the gameplay is very fun indeed. Not much bondage though...

Developer

Thank you!  we planned on having more when the player fails the mission. Great opportunity to get slimed. But yeah, considering this is a bondage jam we really failed that part. Thanks for playing!

The asteroid level was really fun and lagged alot, but yeah the gameplay is awesome, i liked the rougelike elements and it was very cool nontheless!, pretty slow game to get into the bondage but i assume time constraits made it so more bondage scenes werent feasible, anyways great game!

Developer

Glad you liked the asteroid level because it almost didn't make it in. The only reason it stayed in scope for the jam was so I could keep the "astblaster" joke :")

And you're right, we did plan for more bondage. Hoping to add it in a future update. Thank you for the feedback!

An engaging and pretty satisfying game. Even though I find shmups/danmaku games to be really stressing most of the time, this one felt very approachable and fun to play.

I must admit that the difficulty curve felt backwards for me, as I felt the first 3-levels very hard to pass (I died so many times on them) but the next ones felt like a breeze after so many upgrades.

Still, I would be lying if I said I didn't find the barrage of bullets obliterating all enemies on the screen very satisfying. And the reward at the end is quite spicy as well.

Overall, it was a very fun game. Good job here, buddy :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. We've definitely had a lot of people tell us the first levels are too difficult. I think they were poorly designed because enemies leave the screen and it makes the player feel like they're wasting points/potential upgrades by letting them pass. Doing nothing is often the "optimal" choice to get to the next level which feels terrible.

We're planning on easing the difficulty curve and trying to put more of the difficulty on the bosses, where you can learn attack patterns and make progress by improving your skill, whereas the levels leading to them are more for deciding your build and destroying things.

Game balance is something we definitely need to improve on.

Pretty good! Though I agree with commenter cufflink, it's hard when you start due to low firepower but once you pick up enough shot boosts you end up annihilating everything.

Thanks! I do want to keep that feeling of annihilating everything, but make it less common and more based on figuring out builds that have synergy. Right now the best choice for upgrades is usually to stack additional shots and fire rate, but it would be cool to have more complex interactions with upgrades and the player. Maybe players could pick different ships, and they each have unique shots/abilities that benefit from upgrades in different ways.

Amazing game!

Only gripe is the difficulty as it starts out pretty difficult and becomes extremely easy.

Still, I made sure the play all the levels!

(might check for another ending or play with the bosses some more)

Developer(+1)

I'll save you the effort. There's only one ending so far, but we would love to add follow up difficulties and stories! It would be cool if some prisoners escaped multiple times and the story progressed beyond where it does now.

Let me know what you think of the theme you unlocked in the gallery! I don't want to admit how long we spent making it compared to the game...

And we should have put more time into balancing the gameplay, like you mentioned. We will do that after the jam voting period ends. Thanks for playing!
