This was really cool. I loved the digitized actor look and feel you had going on! It definitely gave it a distinctive vibe. Also, that cat person enemy with the lute that dose emotional damage with it's playing. Really nice concept for an enemy. 

Really great game. Looks beautiful and there is variety between the levels. Reminds me of Labyrinth of the Demon King.

finally finished it. Definitely the most "complete" game of the jam for me. It looks good it sounds good, looks good the cohesive theming is awesome, the only thing i could say is that by the end i was starting to feel a lack of gameplay variety (i should mention that i did play on the hardest difficulty and struggled a little so that probably influenced my feeling). Very polished in every aspect though. Great job!

I found a couple small bugs while playing (i was playing the web embed version):
getting cursed by the statue overlay stays after respawn
spamming buttons on level load sometimes crashes game
in some places you can pick up items through closed doors and it doesn't feel intended
enemies can get hit by arrows stuck in walls
also in the credits on the itch page the link to the "search noise" seems to be wrong

This one's amazing! The art and sounds really come together, so much Wolfenstein 3d flavor and yet so different at the same time. And a working map too!? Nailed it. Enemies are really punishing (on normal difficulty).

Super cool game! I really like the aesthetic and the animations/design of the enemies. Great work!

Very awesome game :) I had a lot of fun with it. There’s really nothing to complain about. The sound, animations, and atmosphere fit together very well. One of my favorites!

This was one of my favorite entries. You did such a good job, finding secrets feels so satisfying! The game starts to lag a bit the longer I play in the browser, but I like that you can choose the level at the start so it's easy to resume where I left off if it gets too laggy.

I wish I could play more without getting nauseous but this is amazing, the art, the vibes, love it

I love absolutely everything about this game. Feels so authentic like it could be an actual "Wolfenstein clone" released at the end of their popularity wave, except a very competent and original one. I really wonder what's your process for creating sprites, they look great! Different groups of enemies and room layouts create different fight scenarios so it doesn't really get boring. I actually had to pop a vein on my forehead coming up with a suggestion, but I think the only thing that bothers me is red yokai's attacks are taking a bit too long, and with them almost always being in front of everybody else you can't really switch targets and have to wait till it ends before you actually can do something. Amazing entry!

I like the retro style you chose. Exploring the levels and unlocking the secret doors was really fun, and you did an amazing job incorporating the theme this way.

Absolutely love the art style and atmosphere! Cutting down enemies with the katana was really fun and the bow felt good to use as well! 

I love that you can pick up the arrows, great game!
