The art is perfect, the concept is focused and well-realized, and the characters make you want to pick them up and play them. I feel like there more is needed to make this game trulycomplete, but if there is more to come I'd be eager to bring it to the table!

This is a game about three characters robbing a train – in space.

It’s designed to tell one story and it’s doing this from start to finish. For example the stats rootin’ tootin’ and shootin’ – I just really love how the use of these terms transports the vibe of the game already. Grit and Heat are great additions on the mechanical side, too. Both are cleverly woven into the game. The Player’s Turn Walkthrough is really helpful, as is the summary at the bottom of the character sheets for the use of Grit. What I also loved, is the Swings part for enemies. I think it adds something interesting and unique to each adversary, of which there are three. The black and white art is clear and gives you a good idea of the archetypes.

As I really like the +stat/-stat part for some wounds in e.g. Eat the Reich, I initially thought I might miss this part here. But using Grit is a clever way of adding a reward.

What I love:
your wording is awesome – rootin’ tootin’ shootin’ just transports a whole lot of vibe
Grit
Heat
Swings
The Art

What I missed:
locations (even if it’s just for inspiration). I felt like a few descriptions of specific wagons would have topped it off.
maybe some loot to grab on the way

All in all, I had fun reading this game and your use of words had me picturing scenes frequently.

I enjoyed the interplay of Heat, Grit+Moxie and Overheat. As someone who  gets quite attached to equipment, I like having  the option to hang onto that special thing.  I can imagine it would be really fun to balance in game while also fitting the theme nicely.

In general it feels like a really nice adaption in rules and as a fan of Slugblasters and Havoc I appreciate the cross pollination.

The setting is awesome. The way you used the havoc engine feels really solid.

The mechanics feel really solid. I particularly like the heat mechanic on the weapons.  I also like the injuries table.

The characters are great and each has a very distinct identity. I really like the inclusion of the name/look/trait choices to personalize the character to the player while still keeping the options tied up in the identity of the character concept.

Good job minimizing crunch by reducing the foes roll to just 1d6, while also preserving some of the scaling by including mutliple attacks under some results but not others. As it exists, I do wish there were either a few more foes or each foe had more swings to help increase variability of confronting foes.

For a 7 page submission, there's a surprising amount of depth packed in. Excellent job distilling the game to its most simple components and running with it.

Evocative setting, compelling archetypes and foes, extremely clear and accessible gameplay. This is a quick, high-stakes, action packed game, just like robbing a space train. I'm extremely impressed that this was made in a week!

I love the reskin/streamlining of the Havoc Engine, especially the attribute names.

A fun hook with a some interesting mechanical additions — tying the push resource wounds is cool, and swings are an especially nice way to bring narrative variety to fights. Lots of ideas worth riffing on.
