I’m  a 2D artist and game dev. I make both pixel and non-pixel art, animate characters and environments, work on motion design, and also handle some game systems and coding (currently learning GML).

I would like to participate in game jams or passion projects. I want to get out of my shell, gain practice, and build my portfolio. I would like to volunteer my time to help bring your ideas to life.

If you want, I have a creature collector game you can join. If interested, you can contact me on my Discord:

Hey, Djorogumo

We are a 2-person team, and we are participating in multiple game jams. If so, we would really appreciate your help, even if for one or two game jams, so please reach out to me if you are interested. Here is my Discord: arisu_sakurai.

I might be a bit late , but it doesn’t hurt to try!

We’re looking for a 2D animator! We’re a group of students looking to expand our team.  :)

Hi!

I'm a writer/composer currently working on a small indie game project.

Project:

Narrative driven game that attempts to replicate the action of sitting down to watch an intimate film. It takes around 2–2.5 hours to play through, inviting players to sit back and devour the story in a single sitting, much like watching a film.

The game follows a young woman wandering through a neon-lit city called "Nostalgia" at night. She is lost, unsure of who she is or where she’s going, but continues to drift through rain-soaked streets, subways, and empty diners. Along the way, she encounters fleeting strangers, hidden memories, and quiet moments of reflection.

Inspired by films like Lost in Translation and Wong Kar Wai’s works, the game focuses on atmosphere, mood, and inner dialogue rather than action. It is a meditative journey about loneliness, self-discovery, and the small connections that give meaning to life.

Main gameplay mechanic i thought of is called "Memory Drift"

During certain moments, main character will start to remember some memory from her past, and the player will enter those memories. And basically we play that memory. For example one memory is from her childhood where she and her friend were beating up imaginary monsters, then another memory where she and her friend are running home because it will soon start raining, and so on. And each memory drift is supposed to have it's own gameplay mechanic, it's probably like some sort of mini games

At the moment, I don’t have a fixed art style in mind. I’m open to ideas and experimentation. If after reading this description you already imagine a certain style, or even have existing works that you feel could fit this mood, I would really love to see them.

Feel free to message me on discord if you have any questions and if you want to look at the script and couple of demo songs

Have a good day:)
