cool idea, unfortunately the throwing controls didnt work for me, so i think i missed out on a big part of the experience :(
Same! On some levels, I was not able and on some I would only be able once.
You have to collect a gem in order to perform a throw - your character turns blue when this happens.
Game has a nice retro vibe to it...Music really sets up a good mood... and the throwing orbs is also really great touch... Good work!

made me think of another game MossMoss. If it were made into a Metroidvania might have a different flavor.
