Would old character designs be ok if all the art in-game is made during the jam?
Also what is concidered NSFW according to this jam? Full nudity obviously, but revealing outfits, bouncy bits and such? Would DOA5 be NSFW? Skullgirls? Tekken bikini outfits?
Always dreamed of making a fighting game so might join. Just need to know where the line is, since all my designs tend to be sexually charged.
Yes, old character designs are perfectly okay if no old art is used for the jam game and you are the original creator of them.
As for the SFW rule: the game should be such that one should be able to play it in front of teens without raising too many eyebrows. Some of DoA5's DLC costumes (e.g. the topless flower garland) would be too risky for this jam, but if you hover around ~DoA2/DoA Dimensions designs, I think it should be fine. In case of doubts, feel free to link one design you want to ask about and I will discuss it with the other judges.

The first picture, wouldn’t do the bulge design with these specifications. This would probably be the only character, don’t think I can do multiple characters in a month.
