How does your game fit the theme?
The player works at a post office, sorting incoming parcel boxes by using the microphone. Each box has a sticker on the outside indicating its weight, which directly affects its throwing distance. Consequently, the player must carefully calculate how much vocal volume to apply.

As the game progresses, the boxes grow larger and take on increasingly bizarre shapes. Strange visitors appear, and parcels begin to levitate.. it seems the worker is slowly losing his mind at a job he loathes. At the end of the day, he is finally relieved of his duties and leaves his office, which (coincidentally or not) turns out to be a giant parcel box itself.

It's a really cool mechanic, just didn't feel like there was that much game to it. Enjoyed it nonetheless!

Thank you so much for playing! ^^

Incredible game. At some point I just stopped talking human being and started babbling like an NPC, which made my experience even better. Very fun, 10/10

I think this game would be 1000x better if you wouldnt use the voice mechanic to move the packages. I think the for the customers its fine but for the boxes it just gets tiring really fast. Also not being able to rotate the packages can be really frustrating trying to fit things inside the room. Because of my monitor being ultrawide the button to start the game from the mic settings is hidden, I had to create a shortcut in the game files to start the game in another monitor so I could start the game. Overall a cool project tho.

Yes, this game is something of an experiment for me in terms of mechanics. I wanted to make something unusual ^^
Ultrawide is indeed not supported yet - I mentioned this on the project's main page, but I must have forgotten it here, apparently.. :D And you can rotate the boxes by holding down the right mouse button - there are hints on the wall in the post office room ^^
Thank you for trying out the game! ^^

How dare you trick me into working a job. lol. This is a very cool idea. Great job.

I have done 3 game jams now and this is the first time I have seen a voice command game.

Developer

Oh no, please forgive me! :D Well, that means the atmosphere of a hated job was a success! xD Thank you very much for trying the game, we are glad we were able to surprise you with something ^^

Really cool gameplay idea, didn't saw another game like that yet so that's pretty cool ! Had to play with my mic a bit but it works nicely !

I'm terrible at organising but eh, managed to do it !

Thank you very much for trying it! ^^

It’s pretty cool!! Honestly- the whole voice mechanic makes it super unique. It’d be cool if there was like, some kind of multiplayer version, or also some background music while you do the box stuff, or like different versions of the box area, honestly overall I would just- love to see more of this!!! It’s really charming all things considered.

Thanks for the kind words! They really mean a lot to us! We actually had so many ideas for the game, including a much more engaging plot, but the tight deadlines had other plans :D
