This game is incredible. It took me a minute but the game's gravity mechanic is both fun and fully functional. The music adds a nice level of ambience to it all. I even appreciate the obstacle warnings when they are off screen. I have nothing to add to this game honestly. Maybe a few sfx for player movement and death but thats it.

Thanks so much!!

Yo bro this is sick. I love how polished the menu feels, it's super clean. The movement reminds me a lot of the old flash game G-Switch. This game is pretty cool.

Thanks!

Please download the jam version for rating in the jam

Really nice puzzle platformer, the controls felt nice, the pause when you change gravity where you can change the direction feels realy nice, I could have done with hint on the labrynth level though, haha.

Thanks for the nice comments! I was quite please with the gravitate mechnic. The labyrinth level felt a little bare, but I ran out of time.

It’s tricky to manage the time in a jam, i only got time to make 2 levels in my game after spending most of the time on setting up mechanics 😅

Oh I get that pain XD

It was cool. The controls took a long time to memorize, and I liked that you can hold the space bar to pause for a little, before landing. The third level was hard to navigate, but it was fun overall.

Developer

Thanks! I would have done more for the level design, but university got in the way

Understandable. You still did good.

Controls took some getting used to and weren't immediately clear. user.json needs to be deleted from your Linux build or people won't be able to play it. (I made that mistake more than once with Pong and its high scores.) Actually, there should be a "restart game" button within the game itself that deletes progress so that you can replay the game. Music was fine. Levels were decent. A couple things like in the labyrinth there was a spike I kept running into because it was very close to the screen edge made the level more about memorization. But it was a fun game overall.

Controls do take a bit, I saw three people play it for the first time, and most took around 30 seconds. I fixed the file, and added a delete button! (Whoops, I'm a bit clumsy when I rush). I'm aware of the spike, I might change that. Thanks for playing and the review!

Hey! Really good work, this game is short and sweet. The zig zag puzzle was quite stellar.

Developer

:) Thanks!

I tried running it on Linux, I instantly see the "The End, thanks for playing" screen after pressing Play.

I'll be able to test it on Windows later today or tomorrow, I won't rate it for now but just to give you a heads up

Also congrats on using Pygame! That was my first gamedev lib, and I know how much work you have to do to get anything working (but also the satisfaction that comes with it when it finally does work)!

Fixed, and added a delete button! Thanks for the headsup!

Also yes! Thanks! pygame is very versatile, but takes a lot of boilerplate code to get working.I've been developing classes to abstract it since I started game dev. Very satisfying to see that effort pay off

Really, Really fun. I had some fighting against the controls but it was fun trying to find my way through the levels. I really like it.

Developer

Thanks :)
