I escaped!

I loved the palette you used, and the consistency of art. It had some old-school vibes. Enemies and dungeon were aesthetically pleasing.

It would be good to have a wider field of view so it’ll be easier to navigate.

I didn’t understand the combat, but after reading comments, I think I do now, but it feels like it isn’t shown in the game in an obvious way. Maybe showing the attack color vs enemy color when you make the attack will make it easier to understand.

Here’s my play-through:

I had a bit of a hard time understanding the fight mechanic, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, I thought it depended on which enemy I had attacked just before? but apparently not because it wasn't consistent or so I think...

Otherwise I still went at it multiple times (without managing to finish, I'm pretty bad at these games) since it was interesting to try to get further on the map

had some trouble understanding the minimap at first, but it plays well and the monsters were great

Nice game. Looks procedural also. A bit hard to use the ability of knowing what colors are strong to others when you only are one color. Maybe this could be changed, however I completed the game anyway in about 4min, maybe I got lucky. Thanks!

The enemy designs were super freaky! Atmosphere was perfect!

Game was a bit too hard for me personally, but overall great submission! :)

Really cool vibe and I love your graphics, those monsters are legitimately creepy.  Love your designs.

I find it difficult to get the RPS to work so I think I wasn't really getting the most out of combat.

Your sound design was great, those environmental noises were creepy and ominous and worked really well.

Wow that was acutally a difficult one. I had to run away most of the time as I always died after 3-4 enemies. The healing just did not do enough. Movement was snappy and the controls worked well. But what is it with “J” to attack? And I wish there was a way to make the game fullscreen.

Super big Kudos for making your own engine with Raylib. I wish more Devs would do that instead of making 1 GB Unreal 5 games. Very Cool!

I had fun :)

I escaped alive ...

I enjoyed the game. I like the opponent's art and the different visuals mesh well together.  The game goes as fast as you press the buttons and I like the actual implementation of the rock-paper-scissor mechanic, it's fun to try to look for the best sequence of monsters to kill and you will die if you don't at all pay attention to it which makes it all the more satisfying to make the best use of it.

Movement feels good and the perspective seems good otherwise but I think that when directly in front of a wall you could be a bit further away from it, and then when one tile away you're probably already too close and so on, I think that typically when in another game you're in front of a wall the wall is barely closer than in this game when you're one tile away from it.

Thanks for sharing!

Hate that blue guy. All my homies hate that blue guy.

One piece of actual feedback: it's hard to know which way you're facing on the map because you're a circle.
