- Great work on your Jetpack Joyride clone. You hit all the goals for this one and the gameplay felt smooth. The only thing really missing was sound effects and music to elevate this to the next level.

This was fun. The warning indicators are a really nice touch. I would recommend adding a sound que to go along side them, to make sure they are understood better. My one question, is that the player seems to have a weapon but its not used at all. If the game was intended to have a shooter like mechanic then I think you could work to make that fully realized but if not, I say alter the spite so that it doesn't give the player the impression that you can attack.
The weapon was meant to be shoot to the ground so the player will fly, but I'm bad at drawing and haven't come up with idea that match the style yet. So it stayed like that for now. Anyway, thank you for playing! :)
Excellent Graphics choices giving a good contrast to the usual jetpack looking items

Thank you! :D
The visuals are good. I like the fact that there is a warning when there is a missile coming. I was still able to collect coins after I died. The controls felt fine to me, but gravity could be a little better. This is a great job.
Thank you! I will improve the game next time :)
To rephrase what everyone else is already saying, the visuals look great. However, I found it hard to control and lacking any real difficulty. About 90 percent of the time, I found myself hugging the floor and tapping the spacebar to avoid any missiles that would lazily come at me. In the 10 percent of the time that I was airborne, I thought the jetpack was a bit overtuned, and that gravity was a bit too low. Consider reducing the power of the jetpack and increasing the power of gravity.
Thanks! I agree with you, but it's hard for me to get the feel of jetpack joyride. I'll try to experiment on it more.
Graphics and game feel felt great. Good work!
Thanks! :)
The gameplay felt nice, only little thing other than what was already mentioned is that I think the player's hurtbox should be a bit smaller, I died a few times by just being close to an obstacle. But overall great clone
Thank you for your feedback! :)
I liked the visuals of the background, and the foreground sprites were probably fine, but it did feel a little odd having a very detailed background and more pixelated foreground sprites. I feel like having sound would have improved the experience.
I felt that the controls were a bit floaty.
The pause button on the upper right is bugged. If you press it, it will continue pausing/unpausing in intervals. Also, coins continue scrolling, and the player character continues animating while paused. Also, things keep scrolling after you die.
As I've said on some others, regarding accessibility this game would be fully mobile friendly if you had also accepted the mouse button as input.
Gameplay wise it was good. Had two types of obstacles, coins, and score (though not saved between sessions.)
Thank you for your helpful feedback! :) But I have some questions to ask:
Hi, what I mean is that when releasing space it takes a really long time to decelerate and continues floating upwards a bit long. I don't have experience using Godot so I couldn't tell you specific solutions to the problem.
Super cool, and I agree with Ezreem. Visuals look realy good and it feels like there could be a whole game behind it. Sounds make such a big impact even if just a few ones, really hoped for that.
Thank you! :)
The visuals are screaming that they want to tell some kind of story — shame the game ended up mute, it really could've used some sound. The animations are cool, especially the walking one. The background is mesmerizing.
Thank you for your feedback! :) I'll try to add some sound effects and music next time.
