Wow! This is such an enjoyable game! The game loop is similar to Brotato with levels and an item shop after each wave, but rolling balls around to smash insects make it feel more unique. I added so many bouncy pads that my turn never ends now haha. Broken but fun!

I could submit on time since I had know late My bad ! But I loved yours better for this jam expectations

(+1)

this game is over the expectation seeing other entries , the thing is that rather than exterpolating the idea and conept IK you know coding/gameconcept/gameprogramming/gamemechanism very well yet you focused  on other element which made it fit the 15min demo criteria, I think you heared it before. but mechanics and idea still lags I didn't saw something that pushes me to a battle ,kind of sattisfactory only. if that the goal its okay or else you will have to rewire your code (wrost part for me) , you can definately add bigger crabs , centre bounce , candy to attract insects. if its  made in 3days then its worth writing review else you need to speed up , their is  a lot more competition in publishing. kudos you passed 15min demo test best luck for 3months if you want to make it a commercial

Thank you for the feedback! it means a lot. I had a lot more ideas but couldn't make it in time so I let it go. After the jam I will update it for sure. There is no goal right now, you are right. I am planing to expand the map size when play reaches some levels and I will add map size based enemies. We will start small but we will go way much bigger. Currently game is so easy every run is impossible to lose. I will make sure it doesn't go infinite so player will eventually lose and leaderboard will mean something.

Super fun! I wanna ask how did you make it so juicy *^*
I need to learn from the masters

Thank you so much! I’m really glad you liked it. Your game might actually be one of the first ones I played in this jam! The shaders in your game look amazing and have a lot of potential. While playing, I thought to myself: it would be 10x better with sound; the lack of audio feels like the biggest missing piece.

Other than that, it would be amazing if you informed the player at the end of each wave and offered 3 upgrade choices. For example, a turret that shoots at balls, or a passive skill that expands our area, etc. I think these would make the game so much better. Having a brief red vignette effect on the screen, along with a subtle screenshake and sound effect whenever the player takes damage would be awesome too. Also, as waves progress, increasing the enemy count more, increasing the enemy health, and adding different enemy types, combined with a leaderboard would really take the experience to the next level!

Really fun to play. I think the endgame at 3x speed gave me brain damage, I loved that!

I guess the game could use some better enemy variety, but it's a game jam, so whatever.

Great job!

Suuuuper addicting. Loved this game and the overall genre! As others have said, I'm getting stuck perpetually because of the bounce pads, but it is satisfying to see all the bugs get crushed.

Reached invinciball, destroyed ants for like 30 minutes, and the leaderboard said I only killed 800. 0/10 worst game ever.

Seriously it's great ! I'd play that on mobile all day :D Just needs some balancing at some point before it gets absolutely broken. Had a great time ! Cheers

The game is enjoyable , Also matches the theme ! , GG 🔥

Ok, this was so fun! Great job!

I had fun playing this game. At one point, I basically broke the game and my ball did not stop bouncing with my bounce pads. XD Great game!

By far the most fun game of this jam! Incredibely addicting, just played for 30 minutes and had to force myself to stop. Just a couple things: when does the game end? idk if i just got lucky with the build but i essentially ended up with infinite money and energy on my first run, and also later on the audio gets extremely loud with multiple balls and many insects on screen

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your valuable feedback! You're absolutely righ. The game is quite simple at the moment. I didn't have enough time to properly test the difficulty balance before the deadline, so I had to submit it quickly. I’m definitely planning to update and polish it after the jam!

This was a really satisfying game! I easily got addicted...

I really liked your game, it gets addictive very quickly, besides that its art is very beautiful, congratulations! :D

Had to come back and play more. I think I found the limit.

Developer(+1)

I’m planning to drop a big update after the jam, so you should definitely stop by and check it out again when you have some free time xd.

Right now, no one can actually finish a run because of those bounce pads—the balls just keep bouncing forever haha!

I realized I already rated your game but forgot to leave a comment, so I’m going to play it again right now and leave some proper feedback for you.

Which one of you talented mfs made this thing? Insanely well done, good take on the theme, could literally launch as a million dollar mobile title as is, right now. I hate you for being so good.

Developer(+1)

hahaha I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Honestly, hearing that means a lot. Now that you’ve mentioned it, I’m definitely going to run some tests on mobile to see how it feels. I really hope I can take the game to the level I’m envisioning.

I'm heading over to play your game right now and will make sure to leave some feedback for you. Thanks for the massive boost of motivation!

Probably the juiciest and most-polished entry I've played yet, fantastic job.  Everything is reactive and built with so much care and attention toward game feel. This feels like a game that would already do well as-is on mobile or other casual platforms.

Was hard to pull myself away from "just one more round" to come leave some feedback.  Reaching for things to criticize or suggest and try to provide something constructive to improve...

I felt like there could stand to be a bit more differentiation beyond the splat sprite between dealing damage to an enemy and killing one, especially early on as you're trying to get a feel for the mechanics and which things to prioritize.  It gets so chaotic visually, especially later on, that I'm not sure how you'd make it clearer when things actually died amid all the chaos, but I think it might be a bit helpful for the player to contextualize what's going on.  Maybe could be fun to add a mechanic where the player can tap/click on an already-placed ball once it slows down to get it going again once per round or something like that?  Yeah, I'm really struggling to think of much to improve this!

Phenomenal work!

Developer(+1)

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! You’re absolutely right—there are so many things that could be added.

I have a lot of ideas in mind for the future, and feedback like yours is incredibly helpful, so thank you! I’m planning to give the game a proper overhaul after the jam ends, since we can't make any updates during the voting period.

I also checked out your game—fantastic work! You did an amazing job, especially on the art side. The character designs are just excellent. Well done! Good luck in the jam

That was so freaking amazing, I think I'm addicted now x)

I actually have a bit of a bug phobia so seeing that many on screen was kinda intense 😅 but also weirdly satisfying. Smashing everything with the balls feels really good and got me hooked for a while. The chaotic vibe works super well. I’d really appreciate it if you could rate my game too

Developer

Thank you and sorry for the bugs haha.

Great! however, it is worth doing something with the balance, I pumped to such a level that the balls did not fit on the map and I had to move from behind the lags of the game
Developer

I haven't been able to spend much time on the game's balance. I'll definitely fix it in future updates. Thanks for your feedback
