very addictive, managed to reach level 50. game feels very polished, only thing u could ask is for more upgrades, enemies, maps... cause this is very fun to play, looking forward to an update.

Wow! this game is probably the most polished I've played so far. I love the different varieties of flowers, the differences as they level up as well as when choosing their upgrade. The death and replanting animation was also just beautiful, a perfect way of looping.  I genuinely have no critiques other than maybe an ability to speed up some waves? -  unless this already comes up as a relic later on since I was not able to complete all 40 waves. I absolutely love everything about this and I have never really been one for tower-defence games. Amazing job!

This was the game I had most fun playing in the jam. I did notice one bug: when the shop prompts you to choose between two upgrades, the descriptions appear behind the shop frame, so they're not very easy to read. I didn't survive long enough to say for sure, but the game seems well balanced so far.

Thanks for the feedback! The bug you noticed somehow slipped into the final version, but it only appears if you dont play the game in fullscreen, that should fix it. Thank you for playing!

This was amazing. The pixel art is really great, and the animations look fantastic, even down to the little details like the sway of the grass. The UI felt super polished too. I especially liked how smooth the side settings panel came in and the shop closing animation. The petal storm attack looked really good too, I loved the subtle glow on it. This feels polished all the way through, even the death-to-rebirth sequence was done wonderfully.

There's a nice variety of enemy variants, the hits feel impactful, and the screen shake has just the right amount of punch without overdoing it. I also liked the variety in the shop, it gave me a lot of room to experiment over multiple runs and kept me curious to see how different setups performed. The sound design is great as well, there's alot going but it never felt intrusive. And yeah, that track is pure fire. Really, really good polished game that feels complete.

Thanks for the comment, this really means a lot! Im really happy you noticed all those little details, espacially things like the grass movement, or the subtle glow. That were exactly little things i spend a lot of time on hoping they would make the game a bit more alive and smoother.

really apriciate your feedback! :D

Really well done! i love vampire survivors style games, and the one thing that can make them feel like a chore is when they're over balanced.
Cut to me 35 waves into hard mode generating $100k a wave and killing everything so fast i never even met the final boss, it didn't make it on screen. And this is an absolute win! you made it so fun to explore the various upgrade trees ifound myself planting new flower types just to see what their capstone upgrades were!

Only Real Critique is that the music gets a bit grating after 20 levels, but you added a volume knob so i can't even really complain, and until i full screened it the text boxes for end of level upgrades and capstone flower upgrades clipped out of the play area on the web version, making them impossible to read (can read them just fine maximized tho)

Incredible job! a contender for the top spots for sure!

Thanks a ton, this is really awesome to read! Im really glad you liked all the plant evolutions, I was really hoping that this would be something fun to explore. And yeah... sounds like you absolutely broke the hard mode, it was originally suposed to be a crazy challenge haha, if i had to guess you used the "Time to work" relic and turned all sunflowers into money printers!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

i don't remember the name of it but the perk that increases their money gen speed by the number of attack speed buff plants, at a certain point it's just a solid stream of yellow coming out the top of the sunflowers, it's no longer numbers haha

other combos that were fun was magnet capstone for the reach plant with the hyper fire rate plants, and placing watering plants at the beginning and letting them do the hard work for me c:

Wow the music is a BOP, I am loving the intro music. I'm not gonna lie, I'm having a hard time understanding what to do but that is NOT STOPPING ME FROM LOVING THIS GAME. The music = A+++ The ants beating the crap out of a flower = A+++++ The Vibes A+++++ This game looks amazing and sounds great, and is making me ANT-i ants. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for your comment! Im happy to hear that you liked the game so much, and i appreciate the feedback. Totally fair that its a bit confusing at first but we did our best to make it as straight forward as possible. Also Ant-i ants is genius haha

This was fun and I love the idea of flower-based tower defense, but I never got a strong sense of the synergies between the plants. It would be nice if you could be reminded more of the plants' attributes when you hover over them because I found it difficult to keep track of. As another smaller critique the UI feels like it doesn't really match the theme of flowers, especially the shop has a more cyber aesthetic going on. I do really like how all the plants look like they're dancing to the music, it's very cute. Thanks for sharing your game!

Fun game!!! The different flowers were fun to work with and plan how to protect my sunflower. My one thing was I wish there was different music for main menu or have the music grow during gameplay.

Great game! I just love different strategies, and here managed to make an interesting implementation of tower defense.

A splash of daisies created something)

Good tower-defense! A lot of content and nice polishing

This game is not easy! :D I played this in the office while my coworker was not there. I wanted to try again and again. Good game.

I'm still trying to reach level 20 :D my third play through. Amazing work here.

Great game! The pixel are is very nice and clearly shows the different flowers and enemies. I thought there was a good variety of plants too. The music also suits it very well. I played 3 games, made it to level 20 but couldn't beat it, I will try again :D It did seem that the price curve was pretty steep so I guess I need to focus more on the money plants? I could never afford to try the evolution. Thanks for a fun time!

I ran across 1 small bug - the relic description in the shop was underneath the shop border so I couldn't read it properly.
