The game is really intense. It wasn't easy for me. I really like the bonus system. Well done.
loved it!
Thanks!
i had a good time playing this! every wave felt super intense but manageable as long as i played carefully with the active abilities.
Thanks! That's the balance we tried to achieve. Glad you liked it!
What a nice and surprisingly challenging game. I liked the different attacks/mechanics you came up with. Very well done, gonna have to copy that at some point as well. (5,5,4,4,4)
Thanks a lot, really glad you enjoyed it. Feel free to borrow any ideas, I’d love to see what you do with them.
Really like the artistic direction, it gives the game a strong identity right away. The whole space/defense vibe feels cohesive and looks really cool overall . You might enjoy checking out my game too
Thanks a lot! The artist and composer did a great job on this entry!
Thanks a lot! Just played your game really cool one too!
concept and speed are perfect saving earth by my my mouse filles good
Thanks, really glad you enjoyed it!
Very fun concept! Loved the variety of skill upgrades you could choose from! Perfect entry for the given theme
Thank you very much! It's appreciated.
I think the music and visual style are very successful. The gameplay is also fun and quite polished. I constantly wanted to choose and try new abilities. I lose a bit early, but I'm sure I can progress further if I build a good one. I get extremely annoyed by the elements that slow me down.
Thanks for the feedback! Trying new abilities is the best right?! And yea the sticky enemy is too strong too early, you're right. Glad you enjoyed the game!
Hey! Very fun game. I like the audio design.
I like the variety in upgrades and the gameplay loop :D
Hey! We're glad you enjoyed the game!
Very fun game! I really liked the art style. The purple upgrade (projectiles fires 2 or 3 times more) feels a bit OP (maybe that's another integration of the theme?), but not to my displeasure. Great work! :)
Thanks! The projectiles overall are too strong, or all the rest is not strong enough! We went with more upgrades rather than less with balance. I don't know if it was the right call. Glad you enjoyed it!
A very fun little game! I quite liked the art style (it gives me similar vibes to late 2000s early 2010s flash games). Audio design is simple and effective. I did encounter a bug where selecting the static defender just broke the game rather than placing down a new permanent defender. Additionally, it would be nice if there was a round timer or 'asteroids remaining' counter so I know when the round is close to ending. An overall strong submission though!
Edit: Tried again after reading another comment and it was just my own incompetence - didn't realise I had to replace one of the other active abilities! Oops! It does raise a similar point they made - a lot of the other active abilities you start with are just outright worse than ones you can get, which pushes people to get passive ones instead.
Thanks for all the feedback! We worked a lot on the upgrade system, so much that we didn't have the time to do any 2nd pass and do balancing so we just shipped it like that, but I've also noticed that passives are stronger. Glad you enjoyed it tho!
The game is very fun, and the art style is quite unique. However, sometimes after I select a skill, there’s a period with no enemies at all. I’m not sure if it’s a bug, but it’s a really enjoyable game.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game! The delay was intentional, but it wasn't tuned at all due to time constraint so it might've been a little too long. Thanks for the feedback!
The moon after blocking 1 asteroid:

Really cool game, though. It kind of reminded me of Missile Command. It was fun trying it out with kb/mouse and controller.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really cool game! I had a ton of fun testing the upgrades. The start was hard, understanding wow to use what when but then really fun.
Starting with all 4 upgrades made me choose the passive upgrades more often because the other "upgrade" were just replacing at I already got from the start.
Congrats for this game :) I think it can be a really great game with a second gameloop to relax a bit more between fight.
Thanks so much! We’re really glad you enjoyed it.
It sounds like you played in a similar style to me. I also leaned toward the passive upgrades.
Could you tell us a bit more about what you meant by having a second game loop?
Sure! I think only with this gameloop the game can feel a bit repetitive and to intense, and may be a bit limited. Take BallxPit for example, there is the main gameplay then there is another loop in order to relax between game were you re-build your town, and it also give a purpose to why you play. So I think your game can be a really good game with something like that, something that give a purpose, like you reconstruct your planet but need to protect it, and what you have construct give you new upgrades.
This comment only apply with you plan to expand on it to make a full game out of it. If not this a really good jam game like this ;).
Interesting concept, I really liked it. I think my only gripe with it is that there was a "rotating" or "orbitting" moon upgrade that flew in an elliptical path overlapping the planet quite a bit which was annoying since I didn't imagine that to be the behaviour. I tried getting the upgrade again but I wasn't lucky enough to find it to grab a screenshot.
Good work!
Thanks for the feedback! The different ellipses where part of the design, but I feel like moons and orbiting object duplication skills where better in concept than the execution we've made. Time constraint were pretty tight on playtests and content addition, so we didn't change it. I feel your feedback is correct. Thanks for playing our game!
I really like it! Tho it would be cool to add some sort of a timer to show when the wave ends, they are very long sometimes
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked it
