Game was fun, I played through the whole thing (without getting the collectables though)
I like the concept a lot, but I think the controls don't feel intuitive to me. Also, having some background music would be nice
I really loved the walking animation, and the game is very fun to play. Right now, the level art still feels quite prototype-like, but with a bit more care and attention (like the armadillo already has), it could look fantastic. I think the game has a lot of potential.
ball (I thought your game was really cool, congratulations)
Very fun, and the mechanic of chaining together boosts feels really good to use! I had some issues with the control scheme, but that's more of a personal preference thing.
A unique and inspiring concept! Great work!
Fun game! I think it's a very interesting main mechanic and I very much enjoyed bouncing around all over the place
Cool take on the theme and it's a pretty strong central mechanic, once I got the hang of it I managed to get through all the levels and you definitely get a lot of use out of the ball feature which is great. I personally struggled a bit with the control scheme and kept accidentally leaving the ball when I meant to extend it and vice versa, it wasn't so bad once I got used to it but it would maybe benefit from the option to rebind the inputs, great job overall!
cool :]] a bit difficult for me but i like it!!
I enjoyed the laid back music, but I couldn't figure out how to pass the beginning of the second stage. There might have been a mechanic I missed but I didn't know how to pass through the green line.
I originally had another level inbetween levels 1 and 2 that introduces the green blocks but my friends who playtested said that level wasn't as strong so I left it out, but green blocks just end your invincibility! So the part I'm guessing you might be stuck at is where the floor is glass, and you need to dash through the floor to proceed. Definitely wanted to add more polish and instructions to make all that more clear but just ran out of time!
I tried the game again and I think the green block is turning my invincibility off too soon, so I am dying in the red zone without crossing over. Here is a screenshot!
Aw darn! Yeah that's not supposed to happen, sorry it's not working right on your end, thanks for giving it another shot!
It looks super fun! I'd like to get past the second level lol. Getting too good at your own game is a common pitfall, or maybe just skill issue here. Looks solid tho, I like the soundtrack.
Very valid! It ended up requiring a good amount more precision than I was going for when I first came up with the concept, and I definitely got used to some of the obstacles as I was testing, wanted to maybe make the invincibility speed slower but I like the chaos of it as well. Thanks for playing!
Made it through! Really cool movement mechanic, pretty tricky but satisfying one u get the hang of it. I enjoyed the procedural animation of the dude's legs ;)
I made it to the third level. its a pretty difficult game but the mechanic is prety awesome. it was just fun to launch that thing around.
How did you get past the second stage? I don't know how to go through the green bars haha
