Cool game! I like the simplistic art. I also appreciated the responsiveness of the movement.
Some feedback: Adding some "juice" to the game with sfx and visual feedbacks would go a long way. This game would also be very cool with some sort of upgrades system to go along with it. Also, I'm not sure, but is the character sprite facing the wrong way?
Overall a nicely done jam game. Good job.
