I wasn't big into the actual clicker gameplay but I loved what you did with the graphics. Great job!

I do like games where I make big number bigger. The overall humor and gameplay felt great, I think it just needed some better art assets to tie everything together. That being said the game worked great as designed. Thanks for the game!

Developer

incremental games and roguelikes probably in my top 5 genres(or should i say gameplay types?) in games. Thank you for playing and the feedback!!

Just reached one million coffees. I really like the look of the game and those little texts add a bit of flavor. If it had sound with every click or buy it would be nice. You did a good job here :)

Developer

thank you!! I agree woth you I think sounds would be very satisfying. I wanted to add some floating coffee icons when you clicked like cookie clicker

Charming clicker, I just missed some music to grow my babylon tower

Developer

thank you for playing! Something I will definitely be focusing on in the next game jam is sounds!

Visuals: Minimal

Mechanics: Minimal

Audio/Sounds: None

But I could not resist to add a few layers. Even if the game is extremly basic, I like that you added some charm with the funny text/story

Developer

That means a lot!! I'm glad you were able to find something to enjoy fr

Would you look at that, did I really click away for 20min?

What is the fruits needed about, I couldn't figure what that mechanic does. I did see it go up but the goal was always out of reach.

Clicker games are a balancing act, if your players don't get new stuff they give up, you can add auto clickers, and nice visuals and thrills but at the end of the day we also need pvp and leaderboards to show who's the best clicker

Developer

thats a great point! I haven’t seen anyone else bring that up but a leaderboard would definitely be something id love to learn how to add in my games. The fruits are used to add permanent upgrades(multiplier or auto), you can hover over any button for a tooltip to pop up telling you what it does, but i probably won’t do that next game or at least ill explain that a bit better in the next one. As it is, i can see how it’s confusing

Simple and sweet clicker game! I agree with the other commenter that i wished my extra coffee would roll over onto the next floor or atleast do something for me instead of vanishing if I didnt press the new floor button immediately, but I enjoyed the updates/text on the screen reacting to each new milestone :)

Clickers are not my cup of coffee :P
But i liked a lot the looks and feel of the game

Those graphics were stunning! I got my stack to 14 to one up Moranth 🤩

Nice clicker/tapper/idle game! Definitely unique for this entry. With more polish I see this as a solid mobile game.

Developer

Hey thanks for playing! That's extremely kind of you to say!

This is a great one, my only problem is that all the coffee goes away upon upgrading, instead of just the cost. But other than that, the game felt really satisfying, progression was quick and the visuals looked great. It was really cool zooming all the way out and seeing that it was actually on a planet. The occasional popups were also a nice addition.

Developer

I get that! One of the play testers I had had the same comment. It was supposed to feel more like a prestige system where you get permanent upgrades (fruits & permanent multiplier) in exchange for "resetting" your current coffee progress.
Next time I want to make a game where the planet has an atmosphere! I just couldn't figure it out this time around. Thanks for playing

Managed to get to 20 floors! The upgrade system took some time to get my head around since I'm not used to temporary upgrades but I like the approach and it's fun to see what new dialog gets triggered. If you were to continue this post-jam, having each floor have some animations or something to watch would be nice but this is still great as-is.

As an aside, I had someone warn me in a past jam that Ctrl+W closes the tab in most browsers so you may want to avoid using Ctrl if you also have W mapped to something.

Developer(+1)

That's a great point! I hadn't thought of that before. One of the people I had play the game recently said they lost their progress because they accidentally closed the ta. Thanks for pointing that out and thanks for playing!

Fun game! The graphics were interesting! I got to floor 13 :D

Developer

Tell Michelin to give me a star! Thank you

Ha, same here, I also stopped at 5. The text is hard to read and for me it what to do with the fruits. The lighting is beautiful!

Developer

Thanks for letting me know! There are tooltips if you hover over a button that will let you know how it's used.

I really like looking at this game for some reason. The skybox, low resolution, limitless height with the smooth camera gave me Minecraft alpha vibes, I loved it.

However, I can't play clickers for very long so my tower only made it to about 5 blocks tall.

But I still enjoyed my time regardless! Good job :D

I like the shaders too, you can find more information from the Youtube video I linked in one of the gdshader files!
