Tried really hard in the first zone, took a while but finally got it. Thought it was moving onto the final boss or whatever and once I saw the second zone I quit lol. The first zone was a cool concept and beatable. The hex apples didn't make any sense at all, I only saw it meant hexadecimal from other comments. Good game over all, but a little too difficult imo lol

I thought it was a really unique presence, but I found it difficult to control and I really think it would benefit from alternate control mapping like arrow keys to move the camera around as well as mouse click.

I did think the art style was really cool, and I loved the old CRT monitor effect, and thought the gameplay was really unique - just needs a easier push as the signs aren't easy to find or read when your struggling to navigate the map (using  a trackpad on laptop).

The premise and art style is very cool. I did find it a bit hard to get past the first couple of mobs though so more instruction or tutorial would be good.

I like math, I really enjoyed playing it before opening Hexapple (because at this point game forced me to google hexadecimal value of F) I would like to have some EASY in game possibility to open/learn it by playing, not googling. When I opened second location, I'm sorry but, I closed the game because - again, it forcing me to google and secondly I realized that I will need to move ingredients back and further again and again to find right combination for EACH goblin. I would not quit playing if there would be some in-game mechanic that would allow me just to get any of the opened ingredients in cursor position to at least skip the moving part and focus on thinking/trying/combining. Conceptually I see it as one of the goblins becomes charmed and works as a familiar for you and harvests ingredients for you. I think tha game would become something even more enjoyable if it would be tested by more different people! Good luck!

Thank you for your take on my game! It's really helpful!
And I realized mid making this that some of the puzzle were a little bit too difficult and that probably nobody would see the end of it. I also should have explain hexadecimal in game. The bundle is not really well explained but it helps partially with items transportations but I agree, it's still annoying.  And I agree, the game becomes really hard in the second location and the third one (the final boss) is even worse, I don't think anybody will finish it. It becomes really hard and almost impossible even with the help of google or calculator and it really was a mistake. But I was conforted by the idea that for the last puzzle (the hydra's head), I "did" the puzzle on my own while making it, just giving me a result and trying combination to obtain it. And I enjoyed it even if it was really really hard even with all my mind at it for the past week.

Love the visuals. Has some fun puzzle mechanics, feel like it took me longer than it should of to realise what the bag was for.

It took the combined brain power of the stream to figure out what we were doing, but once we did it started to click. Very cool idea and I really liked the art style.

The game looks cool but even with attempting to read the signs, I really didn't understand :/

I have to admit I didn't know what to do, really. I managed to brew a few potions, threw them on enemies, but nothing happened.

Developer

Sorry to hear that, the web version has made the signs tooltips even harder to see. To progress and kill enemies, you have to match their exact health with your potion. It's just mathematics puzzle at first and the more you progress, the more you obtain "special" ingredients.

I really like the weirdcore graphics, and the math alchemy mechanic is fun, somehow I didn't get how to open the bundle after kill the slimes

Developer

Thank you!
For the bundle it's empty at first and you can put items in it by hovering it on the items or directly put the items inside. It's movable so it's very useful for ingredients and potions transportation in late game. (So it's not like the other ressources gathering point)

cool art style and interesting gameplay, it would be nice if it was easier to see what your supposed to be doing and if there was more of a tutorial :)
