I had fun playing this game! The upgrades could have some balance update, especially the attack speed and range. Haha. You basically cover the whole map. Great game!

Really liked the idea of adding statistic trought the levels. It's really pleasant to see our character groing attack speed for exemple. Some problems resides more in the difficulty, my kaiju didnt seemed to loose life, and about a certain time it gets kind of repetitive, we don't see a clear difficulty courb trought the levels.

The juice on this is quite nice in visual effects and attack impact, nice job :)

Really fun and satisfying! The burst attack felt a little bad to buy since it has cast time and interrupts normal attacks. But the range / attack speed upgrades on the base attack made you feel really powerful right away so that was great. Something about the troop upgrading felt wonky with having to stand still to gather exp, but it fit the theme. Good job!

Developer

Agree with everything! Thanks for playing and having fun with it

Really fun and well made! Love the art and sound and the general concept and I even completed it!!

Cool Game Design !

Fun little brawler. Few things of note:

- This game isn't meant to be played on a browser, it can't handle the multiple minion-waves after those have been maxed out. The downloadable exe barely can :'DDD

- The enemies are too weak and pose no danger at all, even with their upgrades set to the maximum and your own upgrades being minimal

- There's this weird blue flare particle effect going around when the kaiju attacks. Why is that? It is very bothersome

Props for the unique idea of being able to improve your enemies and yourself simultaneously! But this game would need a lot more balancing

Developer

The game works both on browser and .exe, but it might need better PC specs, at least for our team it works fine but it might struggle on lower end hardware. The enemies are indeed too weak, it was part of the 'Invincible" theme. But yes, we are aware of the flickering blue fare, its due to the material of catapults and ballistas reflecting. We are going to patch it once the jam is over. And yes, also agree with the balancing. Thanks so much for playing and commenting!

Trust me, my PC specs are fine. What causes problems is the amount of models being rendered simultaneously. Of course I over-exaggerated the problem when it comes to the exe (even if 'tis noticable even there, and that's what I meant)

I get that the enemies are meant to be weak because of the theme, but in that case the theme could have been executed better and/or differently because at present the enemies might as well not be there, and their upgrades might as well not exist since they don't really do anything

Overall, don't take this to heart. The game's neat for what 'tis worth, even if it devolves down into brainless button-mashing due to its nature

This game is soooo entertaining, pretty good game, congrats!

Love the idea and the execution of the actual gameplay! I think the UI for the upgrades could be made a bit more clear in terms of the hover popup. I would also like the progress to be a bit clearer, maybe something wave based instead of just a total progress bar. However, the bones of the game and controlling the kaiju is super fun! The art is also pleasant to look at. When I increased the attack speed it felt super satisfying. Keep going!

I love kaiju so this was fun for me, and there are so many different ways you could expand this in the future. Good luck with everything!

Developer

Thank you!

It's very satisfying with those sounds and animations and how you see their little blood mark. But half of the game,  when I upgraded my kaiju fully I was just standing in the middle and waiting for the army to collect xp, so balancing could be improved, but i was very fun when I upgraded crossbow guys because my xp per run got from 1500 to 50000 hahaha. So yeah, very fun and satisfying gj

Developer

Yeahh, agree with everything! I'm still glad you had fun :D

Feels satisfying to plow through hordes of enemies

I would've liked more ways to interact with buildings and the environment. Good job, core loop is fun.

Developer

Yeah in the original GDD we planned on make the buildings destroyable but yoy know how it goes

Very satisfying!!!

Really enjoyed it! The perks feature makes it so good!  Superb!

A lot of fun! I like how overpowered the game makes you feel as it goes on, suits the theme perfectly!

Submitted(+1)

Damn I had more fun than I thought I would x)

Everything's kinda fast and easily OP, but I still had a blast!

Submitted(+1)

that was so god damn fun. It's kinda wonky but the FEEL is there 100% with the SFX and VFX. and the twist with the theme is also really cool, although I think it makes it unlosable - which isn't really bad - it's a incremental game after all. The C skill is absolutely overpowered - I don't know if it's a bug that it doesn't have cooldown, it still was fun AF.

One critique I could point to is the thumbnail art. I don't know, I almost didn't click on it cause I had no idea what I'm looking at. There's just so much noise there. Make something more eye catchy, i can see you have the art skills cause the game itself is very pretty!

Developer(+1)

I agree with everything. We had a very confusing start and the game turned out with no lore and no lose condition... but we left as it is because the theme is Invincible (that was completely accidental and not the original idea xD)
I'm still happy you had fun with what we managed to deliver, the power-creep at the end of the game is very much intentional, might as well let the player have fun blasting everything.

Wow! Extremely fun.
