Cute and fun game! I like the look of all the bouquets and how they manage to be so different!
My only complaint is that you have to wait each time for the animation to complete before adding the next flower, but that's pretty minor. Great work!
Thank you!
Flower pick block set is intentionally not to pollute the scene with different moving flowers. But on the other hand its a good point in case there was a time limit mode to create as many bouquets as possible.
This game is SOOO polished! Really it's exceptional. The animations, the gameplay, the characters, the environment, the flowers, it all looks and feels really good.
You have multiple methods to put the flowers in the vase (clicking and dragging) where most games would just make you drag (painful). The input to click on a flower to remove is very well done--there is a neat border and everything and it feels very nice!
The flowers and fillers all go in nice predefined positions and it makes the bouquets look very aesthetically pleasing :^) I appreciate the programmer's efforts.
The gameplay is simple and there's no harm in that. There are no "rewards" or "stakes" you sort of just make the bouquet and give it. Inherently seeing the bouquet made is a motivation but the novelty runs out quickly and it'll become boring. How do you make bouquet creating novel while keeping it cute and comfy? That's an interesting design question!
I wanna repeat that I really love the art! Super pretty
Well done with this game you guys
Thank you SO SO much!
Really gorgeous art, and it's nice how whatever you add to the bouquets, they still look pretty and cohesive. The atmosphere is really soothing. I would like if there were more UI sounds, little swishy noises when you add flowers to the bouquet would make it feel extra satisfying. I also ran into a bug several times where I wouldn't be allowed to add the filler flowers, so I got stuck and needed to restart the game. Great job overall though, thanks for sharing your game!
Thank. WE are very glad!
I had debug notification about bouquet state - "Main flowers filled", "Vase empty", "Vase filled" etc., that i think would be helpful in situations like this. But I decided to get rid of them as I didn't know how to present them and of course, did not have enough time for it. UI sounds were in our plan list - they were actually our next step, and if we have a bit more time, we will definitely add them into the game.
I love it. Genuinely I love it. The art is very cute, it's consistent, the gameplay and animations work smoothely, I'm impressed by seeing the bouquets slowly being filled with my selection and then each one of them actually ending up to be a pretty looking bouquet in the end. Also, honestly, the first minute after starting the game I just spent listening to the music and enjoying the vibe. This could easily be a great game beyond a game jam too (like continuing for more days, with progression built on top). Very, very well done!
LOOK AT THIS IT'S SO PRETTY
Thank you so much. Very glad that you liked it!!
It's a really lovely and cozy game. Its; impressive that you make this alone! It has potential, if player able to earn money and buy what flowers they want to sell.
Overall, good job on making this game!!!
Actually i was not alone. We are a team of two: my wife and I. I was doing mostly coding stuff, but art was done by her.
Ah.. my bad, tell your wife that i really like her arts
I love how cozy and relaxing this game was too play! I am a sucker for a cute bouquet shop and it would be fun to have a little dialogue moments with the customer receiving the flowers! I see such good potential for this game!!!
Thank you!
My idea was to add some sound effects for success/wrong bouquets - customer giggle or grudge based on result. But some sort of feedback/dialogue from a customer after receiving their bouquet sounds interesting as well.
I see such a cute little story since flowers lead to romantic stories! And the art is really peak!!!
