Good stuff!!!
I liked the enemy variety & the ability stealing concept. I think in the later waves the enemies kind of felt like bullet sponges though, wish my character got stronger too.
Good job!
Fun take on the twin stick shooter genre! There was quite a bit of variety and just a lot of game here with all the different enemy types and different abilities you could copy, and so many different waves to battle. The visuals looked nice with all the particle effects and the different robot designs. I also thought the game feel was pretty good with the way you made the enemies flash and such. A few more sound effects for things like reloading and projectiles hitting would be welcome additions if you continue to polish this further. Great job!
Thank you so much for playing.
Its really cool that you can copy enemies abilities when you beat them. Also, those spider-like enemies are no joke!!
Thank you so much for playing it.
Cool concept ! I like using enemy skills a lot. This is something i'm working on in another project of mine, it's really elegant imo !
Here is some advice you didn't ask for :
If you want to fix the little stutters when moving fast, it is probably because your camera is moving on a different Update than your player ! If you're using Rigidbody physics, your character will move during FixedUpdate by default. You can set it to Interpolate if your camera moves in LateUpdate so it becomes smooth again :)
You might want to add some pitch variation as well on the shots to reduce audio fatigue. Just multiply the pitch by a random number between, say 0.9 and 1.1, and it will add some cool variation on recurring SFX !
Anyway, good job ! Making AI in a jam game is hard and you did it really well !
Thank you very much for the feedback.
I HAD NOT BULETS!!!!
Hi, that's strange, the bullets reloaded automatically, and you don't fire by clicking but by pressing the left mouse button for more convenience. Anyway, thanks for playing it.
fun and pretty game !
I died a few times but it worked out lol, your game is really cool, congratulations
thanks for playing it.
Fun game! I am bad at aiming so I did struggle, I also couldn't really read the text when you have to press C to copy an ability, as it flashed really quick sometimes, but the idea to steal an ability is really cool.
Thank you so much for playing it, it really needs polishing several things like the movement and the power-ups
I like the feel of driving the "tank". I bet it'd be even better with a controller. GGs
Thanks for playing it
Some of the power-ups aren’t very intuitive, I often found myself just going ham while playing. The controls also felt a bit off when switching into ball mode. It has good potential though, especially if expanded with more content and an environment that has a bigger impact on gameplay.
Thanks for playing it. I only played it in my free time, so there wasn't much time to test it thoroughly.
