I can see this as a prototype for a larger game. I like the mini-game feel; once I figured out the loop it was a matter of selecting the correct ingredients before drinking or before the time runs out. I think a bit more difficulty as you progress would have made it feel more of a game, but otherwise great job for your first completed game in Godot! :)

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I really am thankful for your suggestions! And yeah, I'll update the game later maybe

Nice job, it reminds me of rhythm games where you have to do simon says but without the rhythm.

I kinda wish the game got harder as it went on, like if the recipes got longer, time got shorter, or more ingredients got added.

I think it was really smart to make such similar looking ingredients, definitely adds to the challenge!

Thanks for the feedback and the bone dust and salt looking similar thing was not part of the plan... But yeah! This is my first completed game in Godot, and I can't believe it's getting so much popularity! Thanks a lot for playing! I mean it!

You got a good start for a game here, good job putting this together and getting the game loop going smoothly! It was a little challenging at first (I always mix up my bone dust and salt at home), I didn't realize I had to click the check mark to submit but once I got the hang of things it was a nice fast paced challenge. Nice submission!

Thanks for playing, man! And yeah, when my dad played the game, he said that I should clarify which is bone dust and which is salt. Thanks for playing my game!

Cool idea and after getting how to play I played for longer than expected. But after getting to 35 it became stale with some increasing challange this would be rad!

Developer(+1)

Dude! You played for that long? Not even I played until 35! And yeah, I know it's stale after a few times. But I had to balance this with school and stuff, so maybe after the game jam I might improve it.

Developer

Update: My mom played the game and got to 48 before dying!

The concept is cool and simple bur we need some challenge (extra life/extra ingredients/ "boss" potions).

Without it it becomes too monotonous after 10 recipes.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I might improve upon it after the game jam, since this is my first finished Godot game, and I had to balance this with school and other stuff, and my mom gets angry if I spend too much time on the laptop. Yeah... plus only 9 days to make a game? It's not a good recipe for a game. It's crazy, I even finished this cuz i was planning on quitting. Anyway, gotta get back to playing and rating games, so bye!

Hi, I think the game doesn't have enough comments. It's well done, although I was stupid enough to misunderstand how to play at the beginning (I only clicked on one ingredient and pressed confirm, thinking I had to add them one at a time while the recipe was changing, and for a long time I couldn't figure out WHAT I was doing wrong).
It was fun XD

Developer(+1)

dude thank you so much for playing! i cant thank you enough. this is my first completed game on godot. so yeah thanks for playing and i should add a tutorial. you arent dumb for misunderstanding!

Submitted(+1)

It doesn't have to be a tutorial, but it could be a visual demonstration that something else can be added. Or maybe the first potion with a hint, yeah, yeah.

thanks for the feedback! im only a kid so this is huge to me! thanks!
