Fantastic entry. With the right amount of upgrades and enemies I could probably play this for hours. Sprites were fantastic, the only thing missing was a little bit more complexity and some sick tunes. But great game!

I was a bit sad the upgrades stopped at around 2 minutes because I was actually enjoying myself. It was also surprisingly difficult to control which fruits go in what order into the brew pots but rewarding to find the different combos. I also ran into a similar issue with sizing and trying to keep the right ratios but not being able to fullscreen, there is actually an itch.io project setting for a 'fullscreen button' that should allow players to fullscreen should they choose (or they could just ctrl+). Overall I think it's a very good jam submission and interesting spin to have a locked central point vampire survivor type game with a movable assistant, very cool idea :)

Definitely my favorite vampire survivors like game from this game jam. The brewing to get the witch in the center to help you in combat was super unique and I loved the idea. The effects were satisfying and impressive as well, especially the bouncing ball attack. Great job, I can see this being super addicting if you flesh it out more!

Awesome, I have not played a lot of these kind of vampire survivors type games, but this seems quite unique. I like the mechanic where you are just collecting stuff to make the main tower do damage. That seems like an interesting mechanic, here are some notes from me:

  • Game needs more variety for the sound effects
  • It was not super clear to me what I need to do in the beginning before I accidentally stepped on some enemies and they dropped something
  • The upgrade options eventually ran out, would have loved to completely break the game with some crazy combination
  • I feel like only picking up thing would make it eventually boring, so maybe there should be also a bit more interaction on the player itself, maybe pickup range or some movement options like teleport or something like that to make it more interesting
  • I could not get the game to be bigger on the screen, it was very small on the page, so for example reading the upgrade texts was a pain.
  • The contrast on the upgrade cards should maybe a bit higher to improve readability
  • The art and visuals for the game is awesome
  • Can you lose in this game?

Looks great and plays well. I'd suggested enabling full screen mode as I couldn't read the text and it was also quite easy.

Nice work! Really like the idea about a "brewing vampire survivors"!
It feels a bit more forgiving, though I find it harder to die than to stay alive!
Also the text is a bit too small.

Please, I want to die! Is it actually possible to die? Anyway, very good game play, most must-haves for this kind of games are there and well executed. Regarding the missing full screen: just check the “Add Fullscreen Button” option on the game page settings, then Itch will add an overlay button that should work (and page updates are allowed during voting).

Nice game, had a lot of fun and like the interpretation of the theme with...kind of "survivor-like". I don't really think that's the genre but kind of gave me those vibes. I liked the upgrades but I feel they end too soon and would like more variety. But it does feel good when you've got a bunch of upgrades and each brew destroys everything.

Nice game !

It’s a pity about the lack of fullscreen mode.
