The attacking feels super punchy and the enemy actions are easily readable. The character is smooth to control and has a lot of skills that can be used. Unfortunately dash and grappling hook is hardly needed after the tutorial. The loop was made so seamlessly I didn't even notice at first though. Great job on the game!
It takes a few tries to get used to the controls and the grapple is really hard to master, but once finished the tutorial it was a lot of fun.
The grappling was cool, all the movement in the game felt smooth. Even though I don't think this fits into a "cozy game", i'd definitely say that it's a decent game in some other aspects.
Unfortunately could not get past the grapple section on keyboard, the grapple kept pulling me up and in, but then I'd lose all momentum to get to the other side. I like the concept a lot, but unfortunately I got skill diffed.
Really fun game with a great feel to it. The attacks had a nice slashy impact and felt effective, especially with the knockback. I also liked the movement options a lot, especially having both upward and downward attacks in the air. That, combined with the grapple, made it really fun to zip around and deal with the mushrooms and birds. The pixel art was really pretty too, and the animations looked great, especially the mushroom's attack.
The player controller felt strong overall, and the dash in particular felt really good. Also thanks for the gamepad support, it played great on it and never felt like I was missing out by not using the keyboard. It was very easy to pick up and play, and I appreciated the extra polish of the in-game quick hot-to's as well.
A fun little challenge! The controls were a little hard to get used to on keyboard, but the momentum was fun when you got the hang of it.
Thanks for the feedback
