WOW I loved the limitation implementation on this game! And the game itself is so fun too!
There's just one thing I REALLY wanted to see: Colour-coded pressure plates. If you add that, this game would be flawless for me. But otherwise it's hard to keep track of what pressure plate does what.
The idea is so cute! I like the little dialogue between the slimes. The title "Thanks, Bye" is just perfect in retrospect. The puzzle is simple but so fun. And the best part is, it's really easy to expand upon this game concept and flesh it out. Idk if your aspiration is to make a mobile game but it would be a great one, and I'd totally play while I'm stuck in transit. I like how collectables aren't a required goal but still an excellent reward. Some of them really scratched my head to get. If I just want to not get it, I don't need to: I can still hop my way to the end.
Excellent way to do the loop :p
Really fond of the simple puzzles created by the game and the customization being tied to rewards for more complex puzzles, great stuff!
What a take on the limitation lol! The cute and simple art style, music and controls all make a really good cohesive experience, I loved it!

A very funny interpretation of the limitation. The game is also very simple and easy to comprehend, but it could use some more complexity with some additional puzzle elements. The tile-based movement in the game feels very smooth, the jump also feels very good.
The simplicity of the art style really works well with the puzzle mechanics. The game feels very polished overall, and the gameplay feels smooth too. I also really liked how customization is integrated into the puzzle, and the use of conversation to support the seemless loop.
Oh no, those end slime do us dirty lol! Such a great and hilarious way to implement the limitation.
The puzzle and level design were great here. The whole game feels very polished too. The UI was simple and unobtrusive, but worked really well. The art style was super charming, and I liked how the water waves added enough motion without making things feel busy. The sound design was great too, especially the little sound the slime makes when hopping around.
Finding customization pieces along the way was really fun, and I kept rushing to the menu to see how everything looked. That definitely kept me wanting to loop again and see what I'd unlock next. Really cozy and charming game.
That is an amazing use of the limitation and one of the few actually seamless loops I've seen that don't feel artificial. The art and audio is great, the controls are smooth and the entire game is really intuitive. The SFX of flipping the switches is SO satisfying somehow. Very well done!
i liked the customization a lot, good use of limitation too and the gameplay feels nice, good game :D
wonderful use of theme. Solid gameplay, and I do appreciate the alternating paths; it must have taken a bit to plan the puzzles. The customization is really cute. Just one note, I noticed the game started to lag after I I completed the loop four times (i was having fun). I didn't consider this in my rating, but it might be something to look into if you also experienced this.
Fun game to try, thank you! I love how much of a big part you made the character customisation part of the jam. The main sprite is very cute! The controls / character movement feels intuiitive and very nice, a satisfying bounciness to the slime.
I got lost though lol! I am not very good at this sort of puzzle :)
