I think it becomes a bit of a rage game at times (mostly because you can go backwards in levels) and it sorely needs sound effects, but very good in general!
Really fun game! I liked the pixel art. The controls for the most part felt very good. My main piece of feedback is the snaking underwater cave with the spikes felt like a bit of an extreme difficulty curve. Luckily, I was able to watch someone else make it past Chapters 2 and 3. Good work!
The game is a little hard to play on a trackpad where you can't left and right click at the same time; I couldn't get over the pit.
