Would you play a game if it didn't have music?

definitely. I would especially try it if it was like hollow knight

you could make a game without music, but music also helps aspect of your game hit harder, it mostly depends on how you use your music or lack of music in your game.

I would sometimes I feel the music is annoying I love to hear the background sounds and sound effects as if its real, it make me feel relaxed hearing the sound of nature

I’d still try it, but no music would definitely make it feel kinda empty over time.

Honestly, I’d still give it a try if everything else is strong like gameplay, world design, and story. Music definitely adds a lot to atmosphere, but it’s not always a deal breaker.

That said, it might feel a bit empty or less immersive without background music, especially during important moments like boss fights.

Some games can make silence work if the sound design is really good, but it’s harder to pull off.

Still, I’d try it at least once and see how it feels.

And yeah, sometimes even silence can be powerful — kind of like how people find calm in simple recitation, like Surah Yaseen from the Quran, where focus matters more than background noise.

I would give it a try, but I think having music helps a lot.

For me, music is an essential part of a game's identity.  Imagine Super Mario Bros.  without music, or Chrono Trigger or   Street Fighter II, etc.  If you want the player  to be fully submersed in a game, it should have great video game music.   Else you lose the environment.

I don't think it would work; in my opinion, music is key in a game, just as it is in any movie or TV series...
