Cool concept and very good city design. I really liked the camera angles – it’s give unique perspective on game and scene – and very nice that to escape we as a player need creature vision.
Sometimes was hard to understand where to go, but I managed to finish the game!
Nice and original idea. The town looks great and the atmosphere gets really weird in a cool way
This was so neat!! I was confused for a minute wondering why I wasn't moving until I realized everything was in second POV--very cool!! The visuals were also absolutely stunning, felt very polished and nice.I did have some difficulty with the controls, partly due to the second POV making it tricky to see where to go. Absolutely adored the atmosphere however, and think this is super creative! I'd love to see more, great job! :)
What a creative idea, the second person perspective is clever, I enjoyed exploring the world as the art is really good. As you know tho the game is heavy, took me several tries to get it working. Also visibility can use some polish as well, there are many places where you can't really control the player well. It is a very pretty and original game tho, nice work!
I knew the file size was on the large size, which made me wonder if there might be problems with people running it on slow internet, or low end/old hardware, though I did try to optimize the scene, materials (shaders), and effects as much as possible. I unfortunately didn't have the time to polish the level flow as much as I wanted to; however, I DID want there to be some friction and confusion at certain points (like a horror character who stumbles away from something in panic), or when the player was too far from the creature, to add a sense of uneasiness or loss of control, but it definitely had some unintended difficult sections. Thanks for your feedback!
The town is stunning. I could just walk around and look at buildings like a tourist. The monster perspective is an interesting idea.
I just wish the game was more polished. A few times the game didn’t load at all. Once the monster and the text got stuck
The monster perspective is super creative and definitely made the narrative more interesting. I had a little trouble finding the correct paths but I thought there were a lot of great settings and liked how it progressively became more surreal and decayed. Awesome job on this!
Such an awesome idea!! It comes with it's own costs, but damn, loved playing this and it looks really good! I couldn't get past the area where those 2 bandits attack me after I cross the wood planks bridge tho. It is really hard to play it, when the creature stays too far behind and I can't see where I'm going. In that case I can't even use F, because I can't see anything anyway, I need the creature to be behind me. The perspective changing constantly also makes it hard to control. A lot of tries were needed to get to that point.
Yeah, I was fighting some nasty build-related bugs near then end, so I didn't have a chance to fine-tune that area before release. I really should have modified that area a bit; would have either removed one of them, or made them slower but more deadly, so you could and would have to weave around them
Cool concept! It felt like the monster persecution scene of Nobody lives under the lighthouse. Nice visuals!
Thanks! I Haven't watched (played?) that; I'll look it up!
This was really fascinating, I love the idea of playing as one character but experiencing it through the lens of an antagonist as you are PLAYING THE MAIN CHARACTER, really cool! Great work, this was trippy to play!
Thanks! I've had the concept in mind for a while, sort of a "we have First-person and Third-person games; what would a Second-person perspective look like?" idea. This was a great opportunity to try it.
Love it, creepy and original!
