amazing concept HAHAHAHA so fun
its quite confusing HAHAHAH
This shi hurt my brain haha. Love the art too!
Hi snoryy, Thank you for sharing. My star rating went through, so want to leave a few words. Please develop further, build level for ultimate beginner with zero coding exposure to intermediate to advanced. I'd like to put something like this in front of my dad, 89, a former COBOL and FORTRAN guru, but has not coded in ages. I like this. Cool design.
The game reminded me of when I played those coding games. It was fun and the concept was great.
The game style and concept are awesome! Combining real-world images with programming mechanics is super cool. However, I'm a bit unfamiliar with Python, so it would be great if there were some simple hints or a tutorial for beginners. Still, a really cool game!
Thanks for playing! There's some instructions in the instructions.txt tab, but you're right I should add some hints
syntax error :P
Great work. The fact that you were creative around python programmine language.
Very cool idea I especially liked the living room picture moves. I don't know Python but it's all about learning syntax, right? :) If you have the time please check out my game it is also a programming style game .
Nice game! We had roughly the same idea ahah
this is a pretty unique idea to help people learn how to code! i don't know python, so even with a novice coding background this was hard for me to figure out. I think a tutorial would be a good idea in the beginning alongside the instruction page! but overall good job!
Thanks for playing! Great idea!
Hey! Great game with a great visual, while giving a very chilly vibe its definitely teaching people the basics of python. A more clear tutorial will clearly enhance the gameplay experience for python beginners that have no idea on how to use the loops and input syntaxes.
Thanks for playing! Yeah thats a great idea, I didnt notice this during testing as myself and everyone who tested were game devs lol
Haha, did not think i would get a leetcode simulator game within this gamejam but its a very interesting way concept which has huge potential!
I think a nice opening tutorial showing a basic code loop with an introductory just compile start would be awesome as well as maybe a set of actions that can be defined or done that keeps getting bigger. Hope you continue devving this!
Great ideas and thanks for playing!
That's amazing! I’m honestly blown away by the visuals and the UI design; it creates such an immersive atmosphere. The coding mechanic is very clever and well-implemented for a jam project. It reminds me of the final levels in 'I Hate This Game' but with a much cooler aesthetic. It might be challenging for some, but for fans of this genre, it's a masterpiece. Great job!
I saw 'I Hate This Game' first and started panicking lol. But thanks for playing and the positive feedback it means a lot! I'll have to check out 'I Hate This Game' sometime :)
this was a funny game lol, great work!
This was a lot of fun. Finally put my Python to good use lmao. For the last level, I tried to go all out in creating a script that, with just that unchanged script, could scan the grind and find the sock, but it was too difficult xD Anyways, great entry, loved it.
Thanks for playing! Glad you tried that, exactly what I wanted to prompt users into doing in later levels
Hi! Playing your game right now:
Great video and thanks for playing!
Great concept! I think the images haven't loaded for me, but I played through anyway :)
Thanks for playing! Ah yeah that might be due to the browser
Really cool game to teach coding.
Good job here, This could be a good way to practice coding
