Glad you enjoyed it :D I'll definitely make running a little faster

Wow hahah that's really impressive, good job!

Good start to a game. It kinda felt like a flash game since the styles weren't very compatible, but the sprites had fun animations. Keep going though.

Had to let him burn...

This was a fun one lol. Love the concept, and the way you lose is funny. It was kinda tough, and I wasn't sure if you were supposed to get hit or not by projectiles at the beginning. All in all, pretty cool entry.

(1 edit)

Such an original mechanic. Love anything that keeps the player involved, and this is a great way to do it. Loved the sound design and atmosphere. The dialogue was funny too. Cool entry! Tiniest advice is to set the character movement to interpolate so that it doesn't jitter like that.

Pretty quick gameplay lol, but honestly, it was a strong concept. The art and mechanics were interesting, and I can see this being part of something bigger, as part of a light narrative game or something. Good work!

Simple but fun. I wasn't sure of the monster's behaviour and I kept dying lol. Apart from that, it was pretty fun. Keep going!

Strong concept. I liked the balance you created with timing and upgrades. Got to level 18. I don't mind endless games, but it's hard to create some end goal. All in all, loved the style and art. Some music would have been nice. Good job!

I'm in love with strange,  cryptic, and dark games, so this was very interesting to witness. The art style, the drawings, the sound design – all incredible choices. If you couldn't tell from my profile pic, I love using rabbits for symbolism, so I enjoyed interpreting the dialogue and poems along with the gameplay. Loved it! PS: my game's a dark one too if you wanna try it :)

I really love games in this perspective. The concept, the animations, the controls, and everything were really great. The only gripe I have is the controls, but I understand why they were designed that way. Apart from that, though, it was very well made. Great entry!

This was tough, haha, I couldn't save the village at all. Might come back to try to beat it. Cool game though!

Couldn't get the keys to work, sorry :(

The beavers were really adorable, and I love how to get a chainsaw when they're fully upgraded haha. All in all, loved the premise. Good job

I think the game premise is interesting, but it felt very overwhelming. I think the rules could be explained with examples or a short tutorial, rather than throwing everything at once. The music was nice, and the controls felt nice too; think the character could look less empty, though. Overall, good idea. Keep going!

Really liked the music and idea; the step-by-step movement was unique and interesting, but I was confused about the goal of the game at first. Other than that, it's a solid game.

Such an adorable and well-made art style. The little intro was funny, and it reminded me of another metaphorical game about a knight slaying a dragon, but his sword grows lmao. Good job!

Really interesting setup and interpretation of the theme. I would've loved to see what you could do with money, but other than that, the characters were all unique and fun to see. I loved the old couple lmao. I predicted the last guy would dine and dash too, he was being way too compliant. Nice work!

Such a simple idea executed to perfection. I'm really impressed by how you turned a relaxing concept into a strategy game, where you have to manage and time all the marshmallows to get the best results as fast as possible. I spent a while trying to get an A lol. Loved it!

I love this style of game. The events kept me excited and I kept wanting to see the next one. I did get somewhat frustrated when I had the combination, but it did seem to accept it lol. Other than that, this felt very complete and I could see the passion behind it. 5/5

This game has so much going for it. I loved the graphics and the puzzles. Simple but satisfying. I always like seeing small narratives and lore in games. Good game!

I want it to be darker lol

Thanks for the comment! I do plan on building more on it and filling up the narrative.

I laughed out loud reading your comment xD I'm really glad you enjoyed the game, it was meant to be a little shocking so I guess it did its job.

Thanks for playing :)

Thanks for playing! I think the particles really have a toll on computers but I have a mac so since it ran on mine, I assumed it ran on any other computer lol.

Thanks for the comment! Will check it out

This was genuinely one of the most interesting puzzle games I've played. The mechanic is so unique and interesting, while staying challenging and enjoyable. I loved the art style too (the candle's face is so funny). I did get stuck on a puzzle lol, but I loved trying different ways to complete it, and I'm def coming back to try finishing it. Very good entry!

Secret ending is pretty difficult to find, but it starts with being normal and not burning the stuff after logs lol

Ahh I love platformers. Honestly, I want to see this become an actual game where you're a firefighter who needs to parkour around buildings to put out a fire. Felt super smooth and will come back to it to get faster times.

This reminds me of Balatro. This game had such nice art and so much great polish; I loved the aesthetic! The game premise is interesting, and I love anything chess-themed. I was kinda stuck on level 1  and made it to level 2 out of pure luck, I think. Nonetheless, it had a great feel. Good job!

This was incredibly fun. I was surprised by how many mechanics were included, and each one was unique and challenging. I wish there was a level that included everything all at once. Great entry!

Wow such an incredible entry! Has so much polish and thought behind it. My favorite part honestly has to be the fact that you don't die immediately, and you get surrounded by the shadows. 5/5

This was a very original entry. Simple yet effective controls and premise. Very easy to turn into something competitive. Well done!

This is a very simple but charming minigame, with a lot of growth potential. The intro with the voice acting and the animation was a great way to start. Cool entry!

Wow, I should've played this during the jam. I love how pristine everything feels; the animations and the environment look so amazing, and it's very similar to my game. Great game!

Wow! Thanks for playing :) Regarding the ammo, you have 2 turrets, so when it goes from 150 to 70, it's because the other turret is reloading but you don't see it in the UI. So technically, you had 160 total. I should've made it clearer, haha. I'm making sure to fix all these bugs, thanks for the feedback!

Save them pls x)

Solid game! Certain sections are literally impossible to get out of xD But apart from that, it had cool music, and the implementation of small cut scenes with dialogue made it feel immersive. Great job!

Thanks for playing :) The reason I had a day/night system is to set up a base for what I want to do in the future, which is to turn this into a farming sim mixed with a shoot em up.
