The artwork looks stunning! (ツ)ノ
Personally, I feel that starting the user on the Scrapyard tab might make the navigation feel a bit more seamless.
I really enjoyed this one. The art caught me on the submission page, I love the black and white hand drawn style. The gameplay was simple yet engaging. I completed all achievements, a nice touch by the way. Audio was lacking, maybe some background music or scrapyard sounds would make it more immersive. Otherwise this is a banger of a game. Well done.
The concept is a great idea. I suggest that race cooldown would be lower.
Nice presentation (minimalistic, but consistent)
As the others mentioned the manual scap collection with cooldown is a bit annoying. However: its a good game!
Nice little clicker, maybe with some UI improvement and more content (more races, more buffs in the clicker area) it would be nice.
IMO you should not add waiting time in the clicker area (to get scrap or to have paid buffs)
The best example of a game I can give you (and one of the main ones in the category) is Cookie Clicker. The main mechanic is clicking, however, the entire environment is constantly changing as you progress (designs, music, ways to advance, aesthetics, etc.). Because the game won't rely solely on gameplay; it depends on everything else. It's up to you how you implement it in your game. But you have plenty to work with (junk, car parts, and races). I hope this helps :)
Little too quiet and the game didn't seem to offer much beyond clicking buttons and waiting. I was hoping I would actually get to race with the car but was disappointed that it was just more waiting.
Cool concept, it kept me playing for a while. Leaving a rating for sure. 5/5
Nice game. i wasn't sure at the start, however i quickly become addicted trying to win races and upgrade
What a focused game! Almost had some Kingdom of Loathing vibes going on
