Nice atmosphere and visuals, I could really feel the swamp vibes.

I had a hard time understanding the gameplay though. It wasn’t clear how to select frogs consistently or how the croak volume actually increases. I tried grouping them, but it felt kind of random, so I wasn’t sure if I was doing the right thing.

Cool idea overall, just a bit hard to grasp what’s going on gameplay-wise right now.

I didn't run into any playability issues on a 1920x1200 monitor, and I thought this was a really clever puzzley game!

The only issue that I ran into was that I would sometimes try to make movements too quickly for the game, and end up not having any frog selected after clicking on the frog I just moved.  It felt like there was some sort of cooldown timer after moving where you couldn't reselect the same frog again, but it didn't feel intuitively communicated (especially because the UI was still showing the frog's range as I hovered over it).

That was the only point of friction I ran into though, and I really loved the tension of trying to sneak an extra frog into a tight space, then realizing that you've created a cascading problem pushing them all apart.  Once it clicked that I could use that cascade to my advantage (to consolidate smaller gaps together), I got really into the frog stacking.

Sadly, I only maxed out at 84 croakiness, but I had a very good time doing it :)

Kind of unplayable, unsure if that's on my end or not so I wont really rate the gameplay . But the art looks good, and the concept is there.

Can you elaborate on "unplayable"? There wasn't exactly much time for testing, I am curious what problems you had.

After the first jump everything progressively started to not work? Alongside frogs that should definitely not be the one selected based off my mouse position being selected. So I could be misunderstanding something and it could just be on my end. But that's what I meant, the game would load up fine and work a bit then seem to not work as expected.

Developer

Perhaps a mouse pos issue. What resolution is your monitor? The game was built for the common 1920×1080.

1920x1080 so something's definitely just up hopefully it's just a me thing and it works for the others
