This is the first time i'm making the music myself. Although i only make like 2 original music for this (only the main menu and the intro music) and the rest of music in the game are from other sources, it's still a great challenge for me to write a music even though the music itself is kind of simple ._. Also this is the first time i actually try making a platformer games so this is also a challenge for me to what to watch for in making platformer game. I also try making bosses which something i rarely do when making games. nonetheless i'm satisfied with how the bosses turns out even if there are some bugs right there and then haha.

My game is Report From a Little Blue Planet : /jam/gamedevjs-2026/rate/4514360

Wow, knowing that this was your first platforming game ans your first time writing music I feel you did very well with your game! There is a few platform games on here and most range from great to ok player controller. I found your game had a very good character controller, i never experienced a moment where something never felt connect!

Very cool to learn the background of these games!

Thank you!! Maybe i should clarify this is the first proper platformer game i made. with enemies, collectible, and checkpoints and all. I made a mini parkour minigane section as part of among us type of game before (where your task is simply jumping and avoid falling with no enemies). But putting pieces together like where the enemies would be placed, which type of enemy work better for this specific area, etc to create a coherent game design turns out to be totally different experience!

Good job on both. Glad you challenged yourself.

Thank you!
